Already a few months before the presentation of smartphones in 2017, it was known that Apple would for the first time show three devices at once - a flagship with top-end specifications and unique features, and also as a logical continuation of the line of 4.7- and 5.5-inch devices.
The event took place at the company's new headquarters. The heads of Apple divisions speaking on stage maintained the illusion of intrigue until the very end, and the audience tried not to yawn in anticipation of “One more thing.” However, Phil Schiller managed to attract the attention of those gathered to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from the first seconds of his speech.
The main feature of the G8 design was the glass back panel, which made it possible to implement the wireless charging function. Otherwise, the appearance of smartphones has remained virtually unchanged compared to 2016, and only a rare iPhone 6 case will not fit the iPhone 8.
How does iPhone 8 differ externally from previous ones? iPhone models
In addition, the palette of cases was reduced from six to three colors - silver, gold and space grey.
The performance of the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus is once again ensured by the evolved processor of Apple's own design. The A10 Fusion was replaced by the 70% faster 6-core A11 Bionic, and the M11 Motion co-processor replaced the predecessor M10. The graphics chip has also been updated - the iPhone 8 uses the first GPU created by Apple engineers, which is 30% more efficient than the iPhone 7.
The screen, cameras and peripheral modules have changed minimally. We can highlight the technology already mentioned above, the 4-LED flash of the main camera, Bluetooth 5.0, the function, which is a system that adapts the screen glow to the ambient lighting.
Hi all! New model The iPhone comes out every year and Apple strictly adheres to this rule. However, “once a year” is too vague a formulation, don’t you think? Therefore, I propose today to find out the exact release date of absolutely everyone existing models iPhone. To collect, so to speak, all these numbers in one place.

As we can see, the increase in Apple’s loyalty to our country is very clearly visible. The timing of the appearance of gadgets in Russia, compared to the global start of sales, decreased every year. And by the time the “six” came out, they reached their apogee. The difference was only a week!
For comparison - official iPhone 3GS appeared in Russia after almost 9 months! At this time the whole world was already waiting for the “four” :)
And my opinion is that everything was heading towards Russia being included this year in the list of those countries where Apple devices appear first. However, this did not happen and we all know why:
- Instability of the ruble.
- Great prices.
- Low purchasing activity.

Updated! Well, with regards to the iPhone 7, miracles certainly didn’t happen, but Russia still got into the “second wave” of sales. In the Russian Federation, a brand new smartphone from Apple will appear only a week later than in the “first wave” countries. And this is very good! After all, the point is that starting with the iPhone 7S, our country should be among those who will receive it first.
Updated 2! Preliminary data (which are known immediately after the presentation) on the release of iPhone 8 and iPhone X have been added to the table. At the moment, opinions differ only about the G8 - will Russia be among the countries of the “first wave”? Or iPhone sales 8 in the Russian Federation will start a week later than in the rest of the world? Let's wait for more accurate information... We have waited. Still a week late. But Russia was included in the “first wave” of iPhone X sales - this is very cool!
Updated 3! Date information has been added to the table iPhone release XS and iPhone XR. As for the promotion itself that iPhone XS, then Russia again fell into the “second wave of sales.” The new product will be delivered to the Russian Federation a week later than to the “first wave” countries. It's okay, we'll get through it somehow :) But sales of the iPhone XR in Russia begin at the same time as the rest of the world - October 26, 2018. Normal!

Now, in order to be among the very first to buy a new iPhone, a Russian apple lover does not necessarily have to go to another country.
