Hooray! It took me about 9 months to find an alternative. At MTT I then used 4 virtual numbers for your online store: the regions of St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Samara. Leaving the scam was a firm intention and a matter of time, because the numbers themselves were needed and an alternative with adequate subscription fee and, of course, free connection.

At the end of last year, I used Yandex.Telephony - then not so long ago born, connecting it to the St. Petersburg number instead of MTT (the number itself was not of great value, because it is not the main one, but is dialed by visitors reading from the site) . The first number from Yandex has no monthly fee at all. Only forwarded calls during conversations are paid.

Drawed up an agreement (as an individual entrepreneur, Yandex.Telephony does not work with individuals), asked simple settings in a clear personal account - redirection to our main number 495 and, in fact, that’s all.

It’s sad, but at that time Yandex.Telephony only gave numbers 495/499/812 and 8800. Therefore, I had to continue to use YouMagic, because I couldn’t find an adequate replacement for it then.

However, now Yandex.Telephony has other regional numbers - 15 new cities in Russia. All additional ones from the “simple” category can be purchased for a monthly fee of 180 rubles. per month. Which is what I did. Total: 540 rub. for 4 rooms = 135 rub./room. Tolerable.

What about MTT?

It's funny, but already at 21:34 yesterday, July 31, I received a letter from YouMagic MTT about blocking outgoing communications on one of the 3 remaining numbers with the same tariff. On all of them the balance was approximately the same - about 50-60 rubles. I don’t know and don’t want to know what this discrimination is connected with. At the same time, MTT immediately wrote off its 6.42 and 6.63 rubles. for “Maintenance and technical support of your personal account.” Let them choke.
