Dell Latitude E6420 ATG is a frame laptop for those who understand. Compact business partner Dell Latitude E6420 Dell latitude e6420 fingerprint scanner

Usually about computer technology They write when it’s very, very new. The piece of hardware came off the assembly line, arrived in Russia and immediately fell into the hands of the author of the review, who will certainly film the process of removing it from the packaging and mention the unique aroma of the new equipment.

The hero of this post, the Dell Latitude E6420 ATG laptop, came off the assembly line quite a long time ago, arrived to me without packaging and, by all indications, the owner treated it without much reverence. Nevertheless, I took up the review with great interest. After all, this is a real traveler’s laptop – both in concept and in essence. As planned - because the electronic filling is located in a magnesium shockproof housing. But in fact - because the laptop belongs to Ivan Dementievsky, a famous photographer, traveler and journalist. Together with Ivan, this Dell Latitude E6420 ATG climbed the Himalayas, and after completing the expedition, I had the opportunity to examine the laptop inside and out.

It is worth clarifying that Ivan Dementievsky is a real traveler, and not one of those who once in his life went on a motorcycle safari around an Egyptian hotel and was scared by a wild camel. No, Ivan really has been wandering around different parts of the planet almost since birth, and for the sake of a good shot he is ready to neglect both comfort and even safety. He was born in Kathmandu, together with his parents, who worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, traveled almost half the world, and in 1989 settled in Moscow. But the desire to travel did not disappear, so upon reaching adulthood, he again began to actively move in space. Sakhalin, Onega, North Karelia, Kamchatka, Taganay, Iturup, Lagonaki, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Armenia, Tajikistan, Nagorno-Karabakh - that’s far from full list his trips. Ivan writes about his travels on his blog, and always brings excellent photographs. They are really very good and are often published in the media. By the way, Dementievsky belongs to a relatively small group of professional photographers of the Nikonian faith, and you can read on the Japanese company’s website.

When it comes to choosing a laptop for a vacation traveler, there are no particular problems. Less weight (so as not to overload the backpack), a more powerful battery (to watch movies on the plane), a larger hard drive (for photos and videos!), the rest is up to your taste. The standard option was not suitable for Ivan, because he sometimes travels in not very comfortable transport, his bags regularly come into hard contact with various surfaces, and pressure changes can frighten even a person with a completely healthy heart. Thus, the Renjo Pass, which Ivan overcame with a Dell laptop, is located at an altitude of 5375 meters above sea level.

Typical mode of transportation for Ivan

Along with durability, the laptop also required quite serious performance. The size of one image is about 30 MB. Several thousand are made per trip. Obviously, the main part is already processed at home, but I want to put some of it on the network right during the trip, and before that, carefully consider, select and process it. So the more powerful the processor, the better. Yes, and there will be no excess memory.

So let's see how well the Latitude E6420 ATG meets these requirements. I have no doubt that he really was Ivan’s full-fledged travel companion. Before handing it over for review, the owner cleared the contents of the disks with standard using Windows 8, but in the secluded corners there was still data about installed applications(Ivan prefers Adobe products for image processing) and regularly watching movies and listening to music (“Nautilus Pompilius” in the Himalayas is a great choice!).

The first thing that catches your eye is the impressive handle, by which you can carry the laptop without any covers.

Content protection is ensured by the already mentioned powder-coated magnesium case (Dell even patented its design under the Tri-Metal brand), a moisture-resistant keyboard and special plugs on all ports. The plugs do not provide complete sealing, and it is still not worth diving into an ice hole with a laptop. However, they will protect you from dust, sand, and even falling into the snow (the official description mentions compliance with MIL-STD 810G and IP5X standards).

This is what the corner of the laptop looks like with the protective cover...

...and without her

I didn’t take long to look at the laptop from the outside and, with the support of master Alexander Levchenko, began to slowly disassemble it to the ground. The first step was to remove the SSD. Indeed, with all due respect to classic hard drives, it is better to use solid-state drives in laptops of this class. 256 GB, in principle, is enough even for a very fruitful trip, but if suddenly it becomes not enough, you can always make an upgrade, fortunately both the connectors and socket are absolutely standard, and in the BIOS there are no restrictions on the brand and size of the drive.

Next to the SSD you can see the docking station connector. Despite the obvious self-sufficiency of this model, it can be turned into a completely full-fledged desktop

The keyboard is large, comfortable, and, along with the touchpad, is equipped with a characteristic “knuckle” that we love in laptops from other manufacturers. In this case, it is quite useful: it is almost impossible to operate a laptop with a touchpad while wearing gloves, but using a “joystick” is quite possible. On the right is a fingerprint scanner for quick identification of the owner. True, it does not work through a glove, I checked. And if you encounter problems with lighting while traveling, you can turn on the backlighting of the keys and complain about it on Twitter without typos.

Keyboard with protective bezel removed. I apologize for the number of dust particles in this and subsequent photographs: the laptop had been everywhere, and there was no time left for meticulous cleaning

Usually, after removing the keyboard, you immediately find yourself face to face with electronic components. But not in the case of the Latitude E6420 ATG: here another layer of metal awaits us. This is a design feature for which the master and I began to call the laptop “frame”. Looking ahead a little, I will say that the body is entirely solid, and it has niches for various components. This provides additional frontal and lateral protection to each element, and impacts are absorbed not by a separate fragment, but by the entire body at once.

The cooling system is interestingly designed. It takes air from under the keyboard and sends it to the radiator. Opposite the processor and memory there is a grille, protected from dust from the inside and providing something like passive cooling. Obviously, if the turbine were located opposite it, dust would quickly clog all the pores. In this case, some particles in the protection, of course, got stuck, but they did not interfere with the flow of air.

The cooling system manufacturer is Sunon. Judging by the autopsies in the last couple of years, it is almost a monopolist in this market.

...and from the inside

Volume random access memory is 8 GB. The chips are not soldered to the motherboard, so the RAM can be doubled if necessary. However, according to personal experience 8GB is plenty for a travel PC.

Notice how much space the not-so-necessary optical drive takes up. Below we will find out how you can use this space more effectively.

Along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, the Latitude E6420 ATG has a 3G module. True, without disassembling it, it is almost impossible to guess the location of the SIM card slot. My colleagues examined the laptop from all sides, lifted every cover - and gave up. And the slot is hidden behind the battery. This is probably not perfect from an ergonomic point of view, but the SIM card will never fall out and the contacts will not become clogged with dust.

Standard SIM card slot (right)

A separate adapter is responsible for each wireless entity. And this is very correct!

We get closer and closer to the processor, unscrew some bolt next to it, and suddenly the CPU appears in my hand. Wow! Was something really broken? Master Levchenko reassures: everything is fine, that’s how it was intended. It turns out that no matter how cheap and convenient soldering is, a good blow can cause one of the many contacts to come loose and the laptop will stop working. In the classic “legs + clamp” combination, this is impossible in principle. You can beat the laptop however you like, and even when other components fail, the processor will remain operational. To be honest, I thought that such a reliable mount was no longer used, but no - Intel has G2 sockets and the G3 that replaces it, where you can even plug in new Haswells. So we have a laptop where you can upgrade the processor. How I miss this in an ultrabook...

The Latitude E6420 ATG has a powerful processor (Core i7-2640M, two cores, standard frequency 2.8 GHz, Turbo-Boost up to 3.5 GHz), but not very new. He belongs to the second generation Intel Core, known by its code name Sandy Bridge. Yes, of course, both the third and especially the fourth generations of mobile computers work much faster, but the power of Sandy Bridge is also quite enough. I myself have a big one home laptop There is a brother of this CPU, and if there is something that slightly irritates me about it, it is the power of the discrete graphics chip GeForce 555, but not the processor itself. By the way, the laptop under study contains an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 4200M chip, capable of accelerating to 810 MHz under load. And it has its own memory, with a capacity of 1 GB. The bus, however, is only 64-bit, but for mobile computer this was quite a powerful combination until recently. Ivan apparently has enough of it, and for those who like it faster, Dell has already released the Latitude E6430 ATG model. Everything there is very similar, but the processor belongs to the third generation Intel Core, and the graphics chip has been replaced with a cooler and slightly faster NVS 5200M.

How long has it been since I saw motherboard with this socket. And never on a laptop.

The Latitude E6420 ATG and its successor are designed not only for those who travel at the behest of their hearts, but also for people who do not get out of business trips. It is for them that a smart card reader has been added. We first assumed that this was a terminal for payments from credit cards equipped with a chip, but the reality turned out to be a little more prosaic - Dell was concerned with meeting the most stringent standards corporate security. We took one more module as wireless charging, but by the product number they identified it as a wireless reader of the same smart cards and RFID tags. As the yet-to-be-written song says, “Safety first, safety first, stupidity comes next.”

The screen diagonal is 14 inches and the resolution is 1366x768 pixels. By today's standards, it seems to be not enough, but Dell thinks differently. After all, even in the newer E6430 ATG model, the resolution remains the same. On the other hand, the clarity may not be outstanding, but all elements in Windows 7 and Windows 8 in Desktop mode can be clearly seen. Don’t forget that the screen doesn’t fade in the sun at all, and you can work comfortably on the laptop even in Africa or in the Himalayas.

From a standard 6-cell battery, our mountain trekking veteran works for 6 hours and 20 minutes in FullHD video viewing mode from the built-in storage device. It will last approximately the same amount of time in photo processing mode, which is a very decent result for a Sandy Bridge laptop. If time battery life is not enough, there are two ways to increase it. The first is to purchase an extended 9-cell battery, which will increase the operating time to more than 9 hours. The second is to buy a 3-cell battery installed next to the standard one instead of the optical drive. The latter is still not really needed, and the operating time continues to grow to the same 9 hours, and nothing sticks out of the case. Finally, if autonomy is very critical, you can resort to two options at the same time, and then the Latitude E6420 ATG will work for 12 hours, like a 13-inch MacBook Air new generations. True, the weight will significantly exceed the 3-kilogram mark (by default it is 2.7 kg), but you can reassure yourself with the synchronized increase in the level of brutality. By the way, if neither the battery nor the drive are needed, in free place can be supplied extra hard disk or a couple more USB ports.

Loud laptop speakers are very good for Russian rock.

This is what the Latitude E6420 ATG case looks like. Each component had a protected place.

And it's not plastic, but magnesium alloy.

Total

I don't really like to use tired cliches, but the Dell Latitude E6420 ATG, as well as the updated model, is a real man's laptop. You can carry it as you like, throw it on different surfaces, open beer on it. Can be dropped from the table. If the keyboard gets dusty, you can simply wash it with water.

I would be hesitant to call this laptop universal. Especially considering the very harsh price tag - under $3,000, two-thirds of which goes to this very security (the model without the ATG abbreviation at the end costs almost three times less!). But if you regularly find yourself in places that have not yet been combed by boring civilization, this Dell will be a reliable companion.

And for Ivan Dimentievsky he has already become one. The laptop stayed with me for several days, and after disassembling and carefully reassembling it returned to the owner to go on a new journey. According to Ivan’s blog, he and the Latitude E6420 ATG are now lost somewhere among the Karelian lakes and rivers.

The Dell Latitude E6420 laptop belongs to the class of business laptops. The model is aimed at those people who work both on the road and in a stationary mode. Like most models for the corporate sector, the laptop has a solid appearance. The durable body's finishing contains aluminum elements, clearly hinting at the margin of safety built into the design. As for the filling, the configuration will cope with everyday business tasks without any problems. A powerful dual-core processor from the new Intel Core i5 family of Sandy Bridge microarchitecture and 4 GB of DDR3 RAM provide significant working potential. The 14" matte screen with touch input function provides a realistic and natural image, even in changing lighting conditions. The nVidia Quadro NVS 4200M professional graphics adapter for business provides a stable graphics work environment. Thanks to the built-in DVD±RW (DL) drive, it becomes possible not only to watch a movie, but also to record it on a dual-layer DVD disc. HDD, operating at 7200 rpm, provides the user with 320 GB of quick access to the data. The convenience of work is positively affected by the presence of a large number of interfaces for connecting external devices, expansion slots, modules wireless communication. There is protection against unauthorized access in the form of a fingerprint scanner, and there is a backlit keyboard. The laptop is provided with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. Dell Latitude E6420 comes with the latest OS MS Windows 7 Professional.

The appearance of the laptop will undoubtedly appeal to strict and serious people - the design combines gray metallic, a comfortable rubber palm rest and a matte display frame. The appearance is completed by an orange keyboard frame, thus making the design of the laptop truly unique and surprisingly pleasant.

The water-resistant keyboard of the E6420 will immediately appeal to people whose work involves constantly filling out documentation - the keys have a matte surface, smooth operation and noticeable feedback. In addition, the buttons have a built-in LED backlight, which will allow you to continue working in places with poor lighting.

The spacious, matte touchpad has multi-touch capabilities, allowing you to easily perform many tasks that would previously require a mouse, such as zooming in and out on web pages or switching between windows. In addition to the touchpad, control can be carried out with a small joystick; many will find this a convenient alternative, but in general it is a matter of taste and habit.

The laptop has a 14-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of up to 1366 x 768 pixels, image quality and brightness are at the proper level for a business laptop - watching videos in HD surprised me with the fullness of colors and clarity of the picture. The advantages of a touch screen display are obvious - you can choose with precision necessary element on your desktop, switch slides during a presentation, and flip through documents without using the keyboard.

The laptop's speakers are perfect for listening to music or watching a movie in a small room - the sound quality remains at the same level even when listening to songs with big amount bass

The E6420 interfaces meet all the needs of a modern user - 4 USB ports, a card reader that works with most modern standards, HDMI and VGA connectors for connecting a laptop to displays or projectors, and a 2 megapixel webcam that produces an excellent picture when video chatting on Skype .

The power of the laptop allows you to cope with any business task in no time - the second generation Intel Core i5 processor, 4 gigabytes of RAM and 320 gigabytes will help you with this. hard drive. Thanks to its specifications, the E6420 boots pre-installed Windows 7 Professional in just 66 seconds. The technical potential of the laptop also allows you to comfortably enjoy video in HD 1080p format and work in video and photo editors.

The most surprising aspect of the test was the operating time without recharging - a full 9 hours, taking into account the enabled Wi-Fi connection. Such results are not even dreamed of by the majority of modern laptops.

Dell Latitude E6420 is the most useful assistant in business and an excellent companion on business trips. Solid appearance, high-quality keyboard, 9 hours of battery life and advanced configuration - this laptop is ideal for a business person.

Latitude series laptops are the best option for those users who are engaged in business and prioritize not only a high level of functionality, but also excellent security and reliability. Accordingly, with the productive Dell Latitude E6420 you will be sure that any task will be solved efficiently and in a timely manner.

Design

The design of the Dell Latitude E6420 laptop leaves two opinions. On the one hand, it is noticeably different from its predecessors, on the other hand, it is typical laptop for professionals.

The laptop case, measuring 335x238x31 mm, is made of reliable materials. First of all, it is an alloy of magnesium and aluminum. Only the keyboard and the frame around the display are made of plastic. By the way, the modest but durable lid, made of anodized aluminum, looks incredibly attractive.

The build quality of the laptop is quite high. In addition to the fact that the parts are strong and do not play, the surfaces of the laptop cannot even be pressed. Dell even claims that the Latitude E6420's chassis is 100% military-grade. If we talk about the hinges, they are made of high-quality steel and leave a feeling of reliability.

Display

The Dell Latitude E6420 laptop is equipped with a 14-inch display with a matte surface. It allows you to comfortably view videos or photos, and work with web pages.

Depending on the configuration, you can choose one of the types of displays: standard liquid crystal with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels or touch, supporting finger input, including multi-touch mode. The third display option, which is discussed in this review, – HD+ with a resolution of 1600x900 pixels.

Such a screen can please you with a high level of brightness (about 320 nits) and good color rendition. But the contrast is frankly not enough. The vertical viewing angles give exactly the same impression. They are not as wide as we would like, because with a slight deviation of the display the picture becomes quite faded and overexposed.

Keyboard and touchpad

The keyboard of the Dell Latitude E6420 laptop looks quite small. It does not occupy the entire width of the working platform, so the keys have normal sizes. However, for speed dial Button text, as well as the distance between them, are optimal. The arrow block buttons are slightly different from the symbol keys because they are smaller. But this change in size is not critical and will not significantly affect the printing speed. As for the operation of the keys, they are pressed not only clearly with barely noticeable force, but also quietly.

It is worth adding that the keyboard layout has undergone changes. These include the location of the , , keys, which are now located not in the upper right corner, but on the right in a vertical column.

So, the keyboard would be the most standard, if not for the backlight, carefully provided by the manufacturer. This extremely necessary feature will allow you to work even in complete darkness without discomfort, since each key will be clearly visible. Even this is not the end of the convenience, since the keyboard is also waterproof. So you can rest assured about the internal components.

In addition to the keyboard, you should pay attention to the track stick located in the center of the working platform. It has a rubbery textured surface and works great to control the cursor. Moreover, some users believe that such a mini-joystick is quite convenient for those who prefer touch typing. In any case, with such an input device the owner is given the opportunity to choose.

By the way, about the alternative. Below the spacebar there is a traditional touch pad with a nice smooth surface. Using the touchpad, you can perform not only regular positioning, but also vertical scrolling.

Processor and equipment

The Dell Latitude E6420 laptop comes pre-installed with a 64-bit operating system Windows system 7 Professional, which, in addition to its wide functionality, can please with stability and reliable operation not only in the field of professional, but also in other applications.

The laptop is based on powerful processor second generation Intel Core i7-2720QM with clock frequency 2.2 GHz and a third level cache of 3 MB. This quad-core processor is built on Sandy Bridge microarchitecture using 32-nanometer technology. In addition, it not only supports Turbo Boost technology, thanks to which it accelerates to 3.3 GHz, but can also process up to eight data streams simultaneously using the Hyper-Threading function.

Besides, Core processor The i7-2720QM is complemented by 4 GB of RAM, which will be enough to cope with most resource-intensive tasks.

The hard drive installed in our configuration has a capacity of 320 GB. This hard drive is ideal for storing not only text documents and applications, but also your favorite photos and music. By the way, the spindle rotation speed is 7200 rpm.

As for graphics processing, the Latitude E6420 has not only a built-in Intel HD Graphics 3000 video card with 64 MB of dedicated dynamic memory, but also a discrete professional NVIDIA Quadro NVS 4200M with 512 MB of its own memory. For office applications The NVS 4200M graphics controller, as well as the Graphics 3000, are ideal, but unfortunately not for modern games. For example, many games from 2010 will run only at minimum settings with good detail (StarCraft 2, Fifa 11). It is worth noting that the Quadro NVS series has, first of all, a professional focus, not a gaming one, in particular thanks to specialized drivers.

Ports and communications

Only a small part of the ports are located on the left side of the laptop. It is one USB port 2.0, analog VGA video output and combined headphone-microphone output. There is also a Smartcard compartment on the left.

The rear panel provides not only an RJ-45 network controller connector and a charging socket, but also a 19-pin HDMI digital interface for transmitting high-definition audio and video signals. Next to it is the opening of the Kensington Lock.

There is also a connector at the bottom. It is intended for connecting a docking station. With such an interface you can significantly expand functionality- connect various peripheral equipment.

The front part also did not go unnoticed. Here you can see the SD card reader.

As for the right side, the main part here is occupied by the built-in optical drive. Immediately above it is the Expresscard expansion slot. There are also three horizontal USB ports on the right, one of which is combined with eSATA.

Wireless communication is represented by traditional modules Wi-Fi standard 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth. True, the latter may only be available as an option. It is worth adding that, optionally, users will have the opportunity to work in a wider area using the UMTS/HSPA module.

Battery

Installing a 6-cell in the Latitude E6420 lithium-ion battery With a capacity of 4800 mAh, manufacturers hoped for a long operating time without recharging. And for good reason, because for such a productive “filling” as in this model, 6 hours of battery life is a very good indicator.

Conclusion

To summarize, it is worth noting that in Dell laptop The Latitude E6420 boasts not only a robust body made of a durable aluminum and magnesium alloy, but also a fairly high performance, but also a comfortable keyboard with a sensitive touchpad. It’s nice that in addition to the variety of ports, they are also quite well located.

The display has excellent color reproduction and high brightness. But the viewing angles and low contrast left a not entirely pleasant impression.

The Dell Latitude E6420 is a reliable and high-quality laptop with a durable metal body, convenient input devices, excellent performance and battery life. This model has all the advantages inherent in business laptops and is in no way inferior to the most expensive and advanced corporate devices.

Design and external interfaces

The design of the Dell Latitude E6420 is stylish, solid and interesting.

The cover of the device is made of dark gray anodized aluminum with a characteristic brushed texture and is surrounded on the sides by a light silver metal edging. On the sides, the surface of the cover has deep bevels, and in the center it is decorated with a chrome-plated round Dell logo.

The upper and lower parts of the body are connected by steel. Thanks to their strength, reliability and thoughtful design, they easily fix the lid in any convenient position.

The inside of the laptop has an interesting and unusual design: the work area is made of black magnesium alloy, the display frame and keyboard are made of matte plastic, and the display bezel and work area– made of light silver aluminum, which contrasts nicely with the dark elements of the device. There are also decorative elements: the keyboard is surrounded by a narrow orange border, and a large chrome “Dell” inscription is located directly below the display.

In general, thanks to the pleasant contrasting design, the abundance of metal surfaces and straight lines of the body, the Latitude E6420 turned out to be a stylish and attractive laptop, which with its entire appearance shows that this is an expensive and solid business laptop.

The external interfaces of the Latitude E6420 are represented by an impressive set of connectors: on the right side there is an ExpressCard /34 slot, two USB 2.0 ports and a combined eSata / USB connector, on the left side there is a SmartCard slot, a VGA video output and another USB port, and on the rear end you can see HDMI digital video output, modem connector (optional), power connector and wired network connector. In addition, a connector for a docking station is hidden on the bottom of the device, which allows you to significantly expand the already considerable list of available connectors.

Hardware, cooling system and battery

The laptop hardware is based on the platform from Intel. Installed in the device various models second generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors (Sandy Bridge), complemented by 4 or 8 gigabytes of DDR3-1333 RAM, built-in (Intel HD Graphics 3000) or discrete (NVIDIA NVS 4200M) video adapter, as well as a 320/500 hard drive / 750 gigabytes or solid state drive at 128/256 gigabytes.

In general, the performance of all Latitude E6420 configurations is at a fairly high level: the powerful hardware of the device provides fast work operating system and allows you to run most office and home applications without problems, including many resource-intensive programs.

Consists of one cooler, a flat copper tube and a large contact pad. Despite its simple design, this system effectively removes heat from the components: even under prolonged loads, the temperature of the hottest component, the processor, does not exceed 80-85 degrees Celsius.

It may have a nominal capacity of 40, 60 or 87 Wh, depending on the configuration of the device. From the least capacious four-cell battery, the laptop runs for about 4 hours in reading mode, 3 hours during active web surfing and about 1.5 hours when watching videos. With a six-cell battery, the laptop lasts about 50 percent longer, and with a capacious nine-cell battery, its performance is quite impressive: 11 hours of reading mode, 8 hours of web surfing and about 5 hours of video playback. In addition, an additional battery with a nominal capacity of 30 Wh can be found on sale - it can be installed in the optical drive bay.

Display

With a diagonal of 14 inches, it has a resolution of 1366 by 768 or 1600 by 900 pixels and is optionally equipped with a touch surface. All display models are based on matte TN matrix models, which have a good brightness reserve, low contrast, wide horizontal and narrow vertical viewing angles, inaccurate color reproduction and a narrow color gamut, covering about 70 percent of the sRGB reference space.

Overall, the Dell Latitude E6420's display is the same as most other business laptops: it has a practical matte surface and modest specs that don't stop it from displaying fairly clear and crisp images. bright image, not bad for work and simple multimedia entertainment.

Keyboard, touchpad and pointstick

Equipped with an LED lighting system and standard moisture protection. Large separate keys are made of matte black plastic and have a concave surface and a trapezoidal profile. The key travel is deep, smooth and clear, with excellent tactile characteristics. The keyboard layout is convenient and well thought out: the cursor block and the “PgUp” and “PgDown” keys located to the left and right of it are separated into a separate block, and the remaining characters are large in size and have a familiar arrangement.

The laptop's touchpad is located in a small recess under the space bar. The manipulator is large in size, has a pleasant smooth surface and good sensitivity. The physical touchpad keys are represented by two large keys with smooth, deep and clear travel.

It is also worth noting that the Latitude E6420 is equipped with a pointstick - a very convenient manipulator that allows you to control the cursor without taking your hands off the keyboard. This pointing device has good sensitivity, and its physical keys have the same excellent tactile characteristics as the touchpad keys.

Conclusion

As a result, the Dell Latitude E6420 is an excellent corporate device: it can be safely recommended for purchase to all business people who need a reliable, convenient, powerful and fairly compact business laptop.
