Sony or Samsung smartphones. Choosing which smartphone is better: Sony or Samsung? Internet and communication formats

But here the iPhone 6 performed best of all. It has a higher quality picture at ISO 1600 than the Galaxy S6 at ISO 800. But the main thing is the preservation of detail. Neither Samsung, nor Sony, nor HTC provide the same detail as the iPhone 6.

conclusions

The conclusion was probably easily predicted as one read the article. I find it difficult to single out one leader, so the best mobile cameras there will be two - Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6. The first has higher resolution, more manual settings, it is possible to take photographs almost point-blank. The second has no problems with shooting in the dark, very realistic color rendition and good detail at high ISO values. In extremely bad conditions (at night, in moonlight), Samsung performs a little better. The result is terrible, but at least you can see something in the photographs. It's a shame the iPhone 6 can't do that.

Well, the examples of Sony and HTC show that the number of megapixels is not the most important thing in life. In terms of efficiency per megapixel, the iPhone 6 is second to none. And the combination of quality and resolution is best from Samsung. HTC One M9 takes third place in camera testing, Sony Xperia Z3 is fourth. But if you suddenly want to take photos in the pouring rain or under water, only Xperia will allow you to do this. None of the other participants can boast of such protection.

Spring 2014 pleases us not only with warm weather and the approach of summer, but also with the imminent start of sales best smartphones from top manufacturers. Today I would like to compare two bright representatives of flagships - the Japanese Sony Xperia™ Z2 and the Korean Samsung Galaxy S5, which will go on general sale almost at the same time. Let me remind you that the latter will appear on the shelves of Russian stores on April 11, and pre-orders can be placed now. So, let's transgress!

Our representatives:

Appearance

No matter how many times I’ve played both smartphones in my hands, I can’t definitely say which one I like better. Sony is elegant: the strict rectangular design will definitely appeal to lovers of classic style. In turn, Samsung attracts with its own style, unlike other handsets. By the way, most users have already appreciated the developer’s attempts to bring back the S-series appearance the first devices in this line. I liked him too.

When it comes to tactile sensations, my sympathy immediately goes to the side of the Galaxy. The convenient shape of the back cover, which imitates leather, allows you to use the smartphone with one hand and without fear of dropping it.

I can't say the same about the Z2. I couldn’t reach the top of the display with my finger while holding the smartphone with one hand. Of course, I don’t have the longest fingers, but I don’t have the shortest ones either. Therefore, I doubt that Xperia will appeal to girls. I also don't really like the glossy finish. back cover Sony, although the phone doesn’t slip out of your hand, you still have to think about it all the time.

Camera

Marketers always try to exaggerate the capabilities of the devices they advertise, so you shouldn’t just take their word for it. Sony's advertising slogan states that the smartphone has the best camera to date. Time will tell whether this is true, but we can already say that in terms of the number of pixels it is ahead of the module installed in the S5 - 20.7 MP versus 16 MP.

The cameras have similar capabilities, as does the shooting quality. Only a photographer or professional designer can truly see the difference. Personally, I thought both cameras took great pictures.

Filling

Having touched the smartphones and tested the camera, we move on to more interesting details, namely the hardware and software of the smartphones. I’ll say right away that the Samsung Galaxy S5 traditionally outperforms the Sony Xperia™ Z2 in synthetic tests. This may surprise many, because both devices use the same processor line - Snapdragon 801. And the difference is that the operating frequency of the cores in the processor installed in the S5 is noticeably higher.

I would like to immediately reassure Sony fans - in real conditions, benchmark scores do not matter at all. We have already written earlier in our full review that Samsung works smoothly and can handle any modern toy or application.

CPU
The most “head” filling, namely the processor, is unlikely to disappoint the consumer. True to their flagship name, both representatives are equipped with a serious processor. However, there are still a few differences.

The Xperia Z2 has a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AB) processor in its case, and the Galaxy has a 2.5GHz top-end quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor (MSM89740-AC) from the Qualcomm line. On the other hand, the S5 only has 2GB random access memory compared to the 3GB sealed in the Z2.

And yet, despite the slight imbalance between the two super-important components, both devices deliver uncompromising benchmark performance. Although I will leave my vote for SGS5...

Test results
Higher is better- The higher the better
Lower is better- the lower, the better.

Internet and communication formats

Sony is the only manufacturer to offer a pre-installed browser Google Chrome, and I must say that this is quite a good and convenient move. Both devices support Cat 4 LTE with download speeds of up to 150Mbit/s, as well as LTE, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, NFC are available for both, although the Xperia Z2 makes the offer a little more interesting by revealing support for 802.11 a, b , g, n, n 5 GHz; Wi-Fi networks(5 GHz protocol for S5).

The Sony Xperia™ Z2 interface works no worse. All animation runs smoothly and without jerks, applications launch almost instantly and cannot make you think for a minute new flagship Japanese manufacturer. However, the Z2 has more capabilities for working with a large number of applications, thanks to the 3GB RAM module versus 2GB in the S5.

Sony Xperia™ Z2 interface

Operating system for both smartphones latest version– Android KitKat. The difference lies in the launchers and pre-installed software. I will not talk in detail about the features of each, since the capabilities of the desktops are different, as are the graphics used. In general, which launcher is better is up to everyone. I can only say that I found TouchWiz more functional, although a little bulky.

By the way, we won’t focus on the device displays either. I’ll just note that Sony’s screen is 0.1 inches larger, and the resolution of both devices is the same – 1920x1080. The main difference is in the matrices used: IPS in Sony Z2 and Super AMOLED for Samsung S5.

Video from MWC 2014 - comparing flagships

Call quality
In terms of call quality, I think both phones do the job, but the quality still leaves much to be desired. Both devices have plenty of volume (though the Z2 will be a level louder).

Battery
Both flagships have a capacious battery, with an average power of 3200 mAh for the Xperia Z2, and 2800 mAh for the Galaxy S5. In other words, each of them is able to work for you conscientiously for 24 hours without the threat that you will be left without communication hanging over your head. With moderate use of the smartphone's capabilities, the operating life can be extended to 2 days.

According to official data, the Xperia Z2 is ready to serve you for 19 hours of continuous conversation while on 3G networks and almost 31 days in standby mode. For comparison, the Galaxy S5 will last 21 hours of talk time on 3G networks, but will only last you 18 days.

conclusions

During the entire comparison, I tried to pick a favorite for myself, but I couldn’t. And you know, this is very good! After all, both smartphones are good in their own way and have individuality, which means we will have plenty to choose from.

2 comments on “Samsung Galaxy S5 vs Sony Xperia™ Z2”

    Yesterday I was just watching Xperia, but the first generation. I must say that before I paid little attention to other smartphones other than iPhones and Galaxy. Now I understand that there are other wonderful options, Xperia type or HTC. Personally, I like the Z2. I'm going to change my S4 in six months. I think I'll buy a Sony.

The Samsung Galaxy S 3 smartphone (review) went on sale a long time ago, but is still relevant and capable of performing on an equal footing with top-end devices that came out much later. So with the Sony Xperia Z (review), it was destined to clash heads in our traditional comparison of performance (and not only). In the video you can see the difference in speed in games, the results shown by the phones in benchmarks, evaluate the design of the devices and look at the screens:

Xperia Z is sold for 30 thousand rubles. TO strengths The model can certainly be attributed to its stylish and attractive design (symmetrical OmniBalance concept), materials and assembly (glass front and back, aluminum power key, strong frame made of glass-filled polyamide), filling (quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2 GB of RAM, Adreno graphics 320), security (can lie for half an hour at a meter depth, is not afraid of dust, and also, as follows from numerous videos on the Internet, is able to withstand falls on a hard surface thanks to its successful design).

The advantages of the Galaxy S 3 are the operating time, the still relevant hardware (almost all games run at maximum, for which we must say “thank you” to the quad-core Exynos 4412 processor), and an attractive price today (20 thousand rubles in official retail). But for the boring design (to distinguish Galaxy Note 2 from the Galaxy Grand, Galaxy S 3 Mini and Galaxy S 3 only a few will be able to - it’s not even funny anymore) and for the cheap materials it’s impossible to give a Korean device a plus even if you really want to. By the way, plastic awaits us in the Galaxy S 4. A high-ranking company representative said the other day that plastic allows us to produce many models, which would be impossible with other materials. But I would like to ask, how does Apple manage to produce tens of millions of iPhones, the cases of which are made of metal and glass?

The Xperia Z screen is causing a lot of controversy. Indeed, the company uses different panels in different devices for different regions. Japanese models got the best screen, as you can see thanks to comparative photos and our video from MWC 2013:

But judging by numerous reviews, even the screens of European devices are very different from each other. In our opinion, we have the Xperia Z with the most best screen of the possible ones for Europe (we saw several early prototypes with faded displays). Its color rendition is excellent - the blacks are deep, the whites are light, and non-ideal viewing angles do not bother you at all in everyday use (they only manifest themselves at extreme tilts, when you are consciously planning to develop squint). At the same time, the screen of the Galaxy S 3 is full of color, offers very deep blacks, absolutely no white (it's gray or rather blue-brown) and jagged pixels thanks to PenTile, due to which 306 ppi is not felt at all (perception at 200 ppi - pixels visible to the naked eye). Next to the Xperia Z, the screen of the Galaxy S 3 in vertical orientation does not look as advantageous as many people try to imagine. Still, an honest 443 ppi is not a marketing pentacle with red halos. But when tilted, when you just want to check how it looks, the SGS3 wins. As for photos and videos, the Xperia Z can offer you both real color reproduction and eye-catching colors a la Galaxy S 3 due to the Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 technology. In games, color reproduction is much more natural and better in the Xperia Z (there is no ubiquitous blue) .

The Xperia Z uses a 13-megapixel Exmor RS camera with f/2.4 aperture. And the Galaxy S 3 got an 8-megapixel module with an f/2.6 aperture. I took several dozen comparative photographs and identifying a clear leader based on them is problematic. The Xperia Z performs better in low light and has better detail in distant shots, but the Galaxy S 3 shows good detail in close-up shots and does a slightly better job with white balance. It should be noted here that Samsung has released a sea of updates for the phone, including to improve the camera, but the Xperia Z has not yet received a single update, but there will probably be more. Comparison of video shooting will be in alternative Xperia review Z.

Left - Sony Xperia Z, right - Samsung Galaxy S 3

The Xperia Z is the leader in the benchmarks, which is not at all surprising. The test results are as follows: AnTuTu – 20,187 and 16,049 (for SXZ and SGS3, respectively), Quadrant – 7753 and 6016, Geekbench 2 – 1982 and 1738, Vellamo – 2185/642 and 1670/556, Epic Citadel – 55.8 and 41.6. In games they show equally good performance. You can see this for yourself if you watch the video review above.

If we take into account all the strong and weak sides phones, then the Sony Xperia Z, of course, looks more interesting. But we must not forget that this is still the flagship of 2013, and the Galaxy S 3 ruled in 2012 (and it costs a third less). So I call it myself this comparison“incorrect” and I promise to return to the confrontation between Sony and Samsung after the release of Galaxy S 4. It promises to be very, very entertaining. See you!

There are many smartphone models on the market that have similar characteristics and are approximately the same price. Therefore, it is sometimes difficult for the buyer to make a choice. Knowledgeable people understand exactly all the main criteria by which it is necessary to compare two good smartphone, but the average buyer does not always understand why one phone is better than another. Below is a small and, as it seems to us, objective comparison of the two smartphones: SonyXperiaz3 andSamsungGalaxys5.

However, let's return to the main topic. The main criterion for comparing almost any device is its technical characteristics.

Comparison of characteristics

For ease of perception and comparison, we will write down all the parameters in a table where the advantages and disadvantages of both smartphones will be highlighted in red/green.

Smartphone
Price $680 $590
operating system Android 4.4 Android 4.4
Screen, diagonal, resolution screen 5.2 inches, resolution 1920×1080 5.1 inches, resolution 1920×1080
Processor, frequency 4 cores, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC 2500 MHz
RAM capacity 3 GB 2 GB
Disk memory 16 GB, there is a card slot 16 GB, There is a card slot
Cameras: rear, front Rear 20.7 MP, LED flash, front 2.2 MP Rear 16 MP, LED flash. Front camera 2 MP
Dual SIM support No Yes
Battery capacity 3100 mAh 2800 mAh

So what can we conclude from this? The devices are relatively equal. Samsung Galaxy s5 costs a little less than its competitor, but its characteristics are slightly worse. In particular, we are talking about less RAM and a smaller display by 0.1 inches. Also installed in Samsung great camera, however, it is definitely worse than what the manufacturer Sony offers us. In the Sony Xperia z3, the rear camera has a resolution of 20.7 megapixels and the quality of the pictures taken is simply amazing.

As for the hardware, that is, the processor, both phones have the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with a frequency of 2.5 GHz, so here the devices are on an equal footing. True, the Sony Xperia z3 has 1 GB more RAM, therefore, it will perform some “heavy” tasks much faster and keep more applications minimized at the same time (multitasking).

Next is support for two SIM cards. There is a slight advantage in favor of a smartphone from Samsung, because... Sony Xperia z3 does not support 2 SIM cards. However, the Sony Xperia z3 has much more powerful battery capacity 3100 mAh. And since the hardware in both phones is almost the same, the energy consumption of the gadgets is approximately the same. Consequently, the Samsung Galaxy s5 will discharge much faster than the Sony Xperia z3, and this is already a significant advantage in favor of the latter device.

So, what we learned: at a higher cost (the difference in price is as much as 70-90 dollars), the Sony Xperia z3 is a cooler gadget than its competitor Samsung Galaxy s5. However, it is difficult to call phones with such a huge price difference and discrepancy in technical parameters competitors. He also received 1st place in the TOP of phones under 20,000 rubles (details at).

But you can’t limit yourself to just dry technical data in comparison. Let's read customer reviews about these smartphones and learn from them the shortcomings. Yes, these are disadvantages, not advantages.

Disadvantages of models

We have read many reviews about this device. Most of them are positive, but there are also negative ones. All the disadvantages described below are taken from customer reviews:

  • Build quality. This is the very first and serious drawback. Moreover, many buyers complain specifically about the assembly. Within six months, the glass may peel off a little; the plugs do not hold up very well;
  • The phone is water resistant, which is a plus. However, after immersion in water, the speakers and headphone output may stop working. Therefore, it is better not to immerse it in water on purpose;
  • The body is slippery and easily soiled;
  • The glass (that is, the sensor) does not change separately from the screen. If your smartphone falls and the glass breaks, you can only replace it with a display. This is much more expensive than replacing glass separately.

In general, although this smartphone is good, it does have a lot of shortcomings. This is a very problematic gadget, and its poor assembly along with the inability to separately replace the glass are serious drawbacks. We do not recommend this device for people with crooked hands.

  • The edges on the sides are slippery;
  • The front camera is terrible, not even good for selfies;
  • The video is noisy;
  • In standby mode, battery consumption is quite high. We highly recommend that you force stop unnecessary programs in the task manager;
  • If the first SIM card is connected to the Internet, then you won’t be able to call the second one. It will also not be possible to make calls from it;
  • Sometimes the subscriber's call is dropped. It takes 2-3 calls to get through (very strange);
  • The speaker is so-so.

All these shortcomings are from customer reviews. Many of them are special cases, and your newly purchased smartphone may not have them at all. However, take them into account when choosing a particular smartphone. And yes, be sure to read reviews on various independent resources.

Still, if we make a choice between Sony Xperia z3 and Samsung Galaxy s5, then we give preference to the first smartphone, even though it is more expensive.

Read what is better to buy – a Sony or Samsung TV. We compare characteristics, technologies, user and expert reviews.

Some people only like two brands of TVs. When buying a new device, they only choose between Sony and Samsung. It is for such consumers that this article was written. In it you will find out how TVs under these two brands differ from each other.

Comparing TV designs: Sony or Samsung

The theater begins with the hanger, and any electronic gadget begins with its appearance. In this regard, the two companies are taking completely different paths. Samsung constantly wants to surprise the buyer. This is why some South Korean TVs get futuristic designs. Sony preaches a classic look. Among fans of this brand, the concept of “Sony Style” even stuck. The Japanese do not deviate a single step from this path, allowing themselves some changes only as experiments.

However, in Lately The picture is changing, making Samsung and Sony TVs very similar. The fact is that there is a tendency to reduce the frames around the screen. Gradually, TVs are starting to turn into one large display. In this regard, companies manage to somehow stand out only through the stand. But not all buyers use it - often the device is hung on the wall.

Of course, the changes only affect top models for now. If you choose a relatively inexpensive TV, then you really have to rack your brain: “Do you like the Sony or Samsung design better?” Such models do not have serious technical innovations, which is why the frame around their screen is quite wide.

Display in low-cost TVs

Just a few decades ago, the screens of absolutely all televisions were the same - only the diagonal differed. CRT technology suited people, although it was precisely because of it that the devices were too bulky. Now the situation has changed. Cathode ray tubes have been replaced, significantly complicating the choice.

If we talk about TVs, the cost of which does not exceed 80 thousand rubles, then they use a liquid crystal display (LCD). This applies to both companies - Samsung and Sony. Each model has a built-in LED lights, which is why such devices are usually called LED TVs.

Read more about this in our article about different types screens. Here we will only note that the LCD matrix itself can be made according to different technologies. The type of backlight can also be different. Two competitors use this successfully.

Samsung engineers most often choose PLS and PVA displays. The first technology is used in cheaper TVs, the second - in slightly more expensive ones. Of course, PLS screens have fairly narrow viewing angles. They are inferior to more expensive technology in terms of color gamut.

Therefore, TVs with such a display are usually bought for a child’s room or for use somewhere in the country. As for PVA, this technology does not allow achieving maximum viewing angles. But such screens are already much better in color rendering, which cannot but please the buyer.

In December 2017, it became known that Samsung would soon purchase a number of screens from LG Display. It is possible that devices with an IPS display will hit store shelves. Its main difference from PVA panels is the maximum viewing angles.

Such a screen can cause some dissatisfaction only because the black colors are not deep enough. However, the companies have not yet disclosed the type of displays planned for delivery. It is possible that the signed agreement refers to much more expensive OLED panels.

Why Sony doesn't make very cheap TVs

For Sony, the situation is somewhat different. The Japanese prefer not to produce very cheap TVs. In this regard, almost all of their devices (except for the most expensive ones) have a VA matrix of one kind or another. This means that the user can expect pretty good black colors, especially if the backlight doesn’t let us down.

Viewing angles are, if not maximum, then close to that. However, if we compare Samsung and Sony TVs with the same price tag, then the South Korean will win in most cases. For unknown reasons, Japanese TVs are inferior in color reproduction quality. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, so it is better to come to the store to personally evaluate the displayed picture.

It is important to remember that image quality also depends on the type of backlight implemented. The range of both companies includes models with both Edge LED and Direct LED. The second one looks noticeably more advantageous - it consists of LEDs located directly under the LCD panel.

A smart system reduces the glow in the area where a dark picture is displayed, making black colors deeper - this rule applies to any matrix. By the way, both competitors have been offering TVs with HDR support for quite some time. This is an excellent choice for the owner game console Sony PS4. However, you can enjoy HDR display when watching various video content.

Display in top models

Choosing between QLED and OLED is very difficult. The first option will allow you to save a decent amount. But organic LEDs provide more high quality Images. The problem is that Samsung TVs are also noticeably more functional - in this regard, it is a rare person who chooses an OLED model from Sony.

Features of Sony and Samsung TVs

Tizen Samsung

Now every at least somewhat expensive TV from both companies is equipped with Smart TV. However, the South Koreans use their own, while the Japanese chose. You might think that the second option is better, because a huge number of applications are being created for the “green robot”.

But actually it is not. Firstly, there are not many programs needed for TV - developers are mainly busy creating software for smartphones and tablets. Secondly, Android TV requires serious power characteristics. If the TV has a modest processor and not the largest amount of RAM, then the system will regularly slow down.

As for Tizen, this platform has been actively developing for several years. South Koreans install it in many Appliances, as well as in wearable electronics. App developers are regularly rewarded, so there's no shortage of apps perfect for your TV. Although you may not find any specific software, there is nothing you can do about it yet.

If we talk about connectors and other characteristics of Samsung and Sony TVs, then none of the companies can stand out in this regard. If some TV has 3D support, then you will have to use shutter glasses to view a stereoscopic picture.

Sony products have some advantage only in the number of TV tuners. The South Korean giant most often saves money by integrating only one TV tuner into its equipment. This means to add cable TV Satellite will only work if you use a receiver. Some models still have two TV tuners. But Sony sees this much more often. Moreover, the Japanese have devices that even have three TV tuners! Perhaps only the manufacturer himself can answer the question: “Why do we need so many of them?”

Comparison of different TVs

Let's evaluate how good the TVs produced by Sony and Samsung are. To do this, we will compare them with each other. Of course, there is no point in pitting devices with different price tags and screen diagonals against each other. Therefore, we will compare models that are similar in this regard.

Sony KDL-24W600A and Samsung UE24H4070

The Japanese do not want to create cheap TVs. In this regard, the range of models with a display whose diagonal does not exceed 29 inches is extremely small. Samsung has a much wider choice - we decided to take one of the most inexpensive LCD TVs as an example.

It has a 24-inch screen with HD resolution. The design is as simple as possible, the stand does not evoke any feelings of delight. Despite the low price tag, the device even supports the picture-in-picture function. That is, you can simultaneously watch television and the image transmitted by the computer. It should also be noted that the scanning frequency has been increased to 100 Hz.

The device supports all digital TV standards, and the sound is output using a 20-watt speaker system with the AVL (automatic volume leveling) function. There is also an optical audio output here. As for the inputs, it is small - a second HDMI connector would definitely not hurt the device.

A Sony TV with the same screen diagonal costs almost twice as much. And it consumes 56 W instead of 38 W from the South Korean competitor. And this with less powerful acoustics! This fact is explained by the screen refresh rate increased to 200 Hz. And a more powerful processor had to be built in here, since the device is equipped with a Smart TV function.

To connect to the World Wide Web, a Wi-Fi or wired connection is used. The number of connectors is quite adequate for such a small TV. It is also important that the creators managed to achieve viewing angles close to maximum - as you remember, cheap Samsung TVs do worse with this. One can only find fault with this model because of the HD display resolution - for that kind of money I would like to see full Full HD here.

In a word, victory remains with the Sony KDL-24W605A. But do not forget that the processor here is not the most powerful, so when using Smart TV, stuttering may be noticeable. And not everyone will like the price tag. If you have less than 20 thousand rubles in stock, then in any case you will have to choose something from the assortment of the South Korean company.

Samsung UE32M5503AU and Sony KDL-32WD756

Next we will talk about TVs with a screen whose diagonal is approximately 32 inches. This time, both devices cost about 30 thousand rubles - the Sony product is a little more expensive, and the product of the South Korean company is a little cheaper. Both devices use Edge LED backlighting.

The display resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Viewing angles are maximum or close to it. Unfortunately the screen Samsung TV still shows itself worse. The fact is that it only has a standard scanning frequency (60 Hz). Otherwise this model has no serious drawbacks.

It is equipped with Smart TV, many connectors are used to connect other devices, and the device is also supplemented with a second TV tuner. An interesting innovation is the light sensor - it allows the system to automatically adjust the brightness of the backlight.

Sony's TV consumes about 23 W less, but its screen has a 400 Hz refresh rate. Such miracles can be explained in half the time powerful acoustics- the buyer will have to connect speakers or a soundbar to the TV. The device also has fewer connectors, which will not please those who do not have an AV receiver. Finally, the device includes only one TV tuner. I'm glad that the Japanese haven't given up on Smart TV at least.

Choose some specific model of these two is extremely difficult. In terms of picture quality, the Sony product wins a little. But, if you put your hand on your heart, due to all the other characteristics and the lower price tag, the choice of most buyers will be “Korean”.

Samsung UE49KS7500U and Sony KD-49XE8096

TVs with 49-inch displays differ even more between the two companies. Even if we talk about models whose cost does not exceed 80 thousand rubles. Samsung has this price segment you can already find a QLED TV with curved screen. The buyer will definitely be pleased with the full HDR support. The refresh rate reaches 200 Hz, which is enough for most people.

Of course, the creators did not forget about Smart TV. The acoustic system consists of two speakers and one subwoofer - the total power reaches 40 W. Nothing bad can be said about the number of connectors. But the TV tuner alone can be a little disappointing. But only those people who watch television from two sources at once. But a perfectly working voice control has been introduced here!

As for the Sony product, which costs 7 thousand rubles more, it also pleases with 4K resolution and HDR support. However, the screen of this TV was created using IPS technology, and is used as backlight. In this regard, even a perfectly selected specimen will not have the deepest colors.

And the refresh rate here is low - only 60 Hz. The Smart TV feature is based on Android TV. Fortunately, the processor power is high, so there are no special slowdowns in operation operating system No. Everything is fine here with the number of connectors. Separately, two TV tuners can please you. A nice bonus is the presence of 16 GB of built-in memory where you can record TV broadcasts. It's a pity that the device is not equipped with a subwoofer.

Sony or Samsung? Perhaps in terms of technical characteristics this time the Japanese product wins. You need to understand that not the best QLED screens are used in this price segment. Therefore, you may well think about buying a Sony TV with an IPS matrix. But be prepared to shell out a larger sum and buy an additional speaker system. By the way, such a TV will also consume 133 W - the “Korean” is a little more economical in this regard.

Top segment, 65-inch screen diagonal, new technologies for its creation. The South Koreans, of course, relied on QLED. Their product costs approximately 148 thousand rubles. It is equipped with three TV tuners, and the screen has 4K resolution and HDR support. The picture is magnificent!
