Better articles about samsung galaxy s7. Biased review: all the shortcomings of the Samsung Galaxy S7. Slow fingerprint scanner

If after turning off the button, Samsung Galaxy S7 does not turn on, this may indicate a malfunction in the Android operating system. To deal with a problem, you need to identify the root cause and know what methods are suitable to solve it.

There are several problems due to which Samsung Age of any series may not turn on:

  • Lack of charge in the battery.
  • Mechanically broken power button.
  • Excessively full RAM.
  • Battery overheating.
  • Damage to contacts for memory.

Most often, the situation occurs after the gadget falls, when it turns off and turning it on is not possible. To understand the situation, you need to know the main “symptoms” of breakdowns and options for correcting the situation yourself.

What to do if the device freezes when turned on

If the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge does not turn on at the initial boot stage and the company logo freezes on the screen, this indicates a malfunction in the OS. Here you need to reset the settings using any of the following methods:

  • Through standard settings, if you can boot Android.
  • By using special programs(there are versions for PC and smartphones).
  • By pressing hot keys.
  • By entering a combination of numbers.

Hard Reset using keys

If, after turning on, the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S7 lights up and the blue light is on, and the OS itself does not load, you can reboot by pressing the hot keys:

  1. We simultaneously press the power, volume up and menu buttons.
  2. When a dark window appears, use the volume buttons to go down to the option “ hard reset"and perform a reset.

Checking charging capability

When the device does not respond to turning on after charging, this may indicate loose contacts or a malfunction charger. To check it, just do any of the following:

  • Check the memory on another smartphone. If it starts charging, then the problem is in your Samsung and you need to pay attention to the contacts inside the micro USB connector.
  • Inspect the battery for the presence of “swelling”; if there is swelling, this is a clear replacement of the part.
  • Perform battery diagnostics. Here you will need another device to which the battery will fit. If the second device does not turn on after manipulation, this indicates a malfunction. You will need to purchase a new battery.

Via the menu

How the reset itself is performed through standard settings:

  1. Go to the menu, select " General settings", then - "Reset".
  2. We wait for the phone to complete the operation and reboot.

Clearing the cache

One of the reasons for freezing or lack of response to the power key is cache clogging, which occurs while using applications. To clean, do the following:

  1. Go to the application manager and select a specific program.
  2. Click on “Memory”, then on “Clear cache”.
  3. A large window appears where you can see the progress of the task.

The steps presented above will have to be done for each application, which takes a lot of time. To simplify everything, you can use Recovery mode, where settings are also rolled back.

If you can’t clean it this way, you need to try installing CCleaner for Android, however, if the memory is full, this will be problematic.

Factory reset

Often the problem lies in not holding the power button long enough, so you need to hold it until the screen turns on. If this does not happen, you need to rollback via Recovery:

  1. Press and hold the volume up button and the Bixby key for a few seconds, then the power button until the text appears on the screen.
  2. In the window, move down the menu to “Wipe cache”, and to confirm, use the power button.
  3. When the procedure is completed, “Cache wipe complete” will appear on the display.
  4. We reboot by selecting “Reboot System now”.

Flashing using ODIN

If the functionality of the Samsung Galaxy S7 device could not be restored using the above methods, you should use the ODIN program by downloading it from the official website. How the firmware is installed:

  1. We install the program, connect the smartphone via a cable to the PC, and install the driver.
  2. Launch Odin, look in the upper left corner to check if the device is connected.
  3. We transfer the firmware files into the program and paste it into the AP or PDA field.
  4. When all the firmware files have been selected and transferred, click on Start.
  5. The procedure lasts no more than 10 minutes, after which a reboot window will appear on the display. You need to click on OK and restart the OS.

If the problem is not resolved by updating the system, it is recommended to contact the service.

We take Samsung Galaxy to the service center

The best option is to contact a specialist to repair the equipment. It is advisable to visit an authorized service center, the address of which can be found on the official Samsung website. If after this the screen does not turn on and even professional flashing did not help, you will have to purchase a new device.

Conclusion

The smartphone's lack of response to the power key or freezing when loading the OS makes it impossible to use. Users are advised to review the most effective diagnostic options to understand the cause of the problem and find the optimal solution.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is the flagship of 2016 release. According to experts, the phone will not lose its relevance in the next 3-5 years - powerful dust and moisture protection, a modern camera, the ability to work under water... however, many owners do not turn on the Samsung Galaxy S7 after just a few months of use.

If the warranty period has already passed, and the phone has suddenly turned into a “brick” - do not rush to despair. It is quite possible that the breakdown can be fixed on your own, even without a visit to the service center. In our article today we will tell you what to do if your Samsung Galaxy S7 does not turn on, how to avoid similar problems in the future, and provide general operating tips.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge does not turn on after charging

Among the main reasons why the Samsung Galaxy S7 turned off and does not turn on, two can be mentioned:

  1. the contact inside the phone has “lost”;
  2. The charger/charging controller is faulty.

To check the functionality of the charger, simply try charging the phone with a different charger. If your Samsung S7 does not turn on even after this, you should change the battery. Of course, it is unlikely that it would be “exhausted” after a year of operation - but the cause could also be simple overheating. Remember the stories about S7 explosions while charging? The reason for this is constant overheating of the battery in some shipments of the flagship. It’s not surprising that the modern Samsung Galaxy S7 phone turned off and won’t turn on. Replacing the battery may well “revive” your phone - and the problem will go away.

Samsung Galaxy S7 won't turn on, blue light is on

After turning on, the blue indicator lights up, the word “Samsung” appears on a black background, and the boot process does not proceed further? We recommend trying a hard reset.

If your Samsung galaxy s7 has turned off and does not turn on, hold down three keys at the same time: Power, Volume Up and Menu. Hold them for a few seconds - it should appear special menu, in which you need to select reboot.

If a hard reset with deleting all data from the phone did not help - the Samsung s7 edge does not turn on and after that, we advise you to take the phone to a good service center.

Perhaps flashing the device's firmware will help - the cost of such repairs is low, and the work is usually completed within 1-2 days after the request.

Samsung 7 age won't turn on after falling

Definitely, a visit to the service center is required. You won’t be able to work with the hardware yourself, and the amount of repairs depends on the consequences of the fall - if it bursts touch screen, then get ready to spend several thousand rubles.

Having “extended the life” of your smartphone, be more careful in the future - remember that modern technology “does not forgive” carelessness!

Video instruction

Every year, Samsung tries to please users with its flagships. The release of a new smartphone from this company is event number one. At the beginning of this year, a new gadget was introduced - Samsung Galaxy S7. Reviews vied with each other in praise new version phone. According to the developers, the gadget exceeded all expectations, and most importantly, it was head and shoulders above its previous “colleague” S6. Is this so, let's figure it out further.

First impression

It is worth saying that the first impression of the smartphone is positive. Of course, this is due to both the company’s marketing and the appearance of the Galaxy S7. Reviews about the design are the most flattering. Buyers like not only the version with curved edges of the display, but also the classic model. The smartphone turned out to be presentable. He seems to be perfect in everything. It harmoniously combines external minimalism and crazy functionality.

The main competitor of this model is the gadget from Apple. The race between the American and Korean companies can last forever. Developers are vying with each other to improve their models and fight for the favor of buyers. In this case, it is Samsung that often wins. Since it is still more affordable than an iPhone. Nevertheless, there will be competition, so I would like to know how it influenced the new model this time.

Equipment

Regarding the configuration, I received different ones. Some expected to get a complete set of everything they could, while others were happy with what they got. Basically, the package includes a charger, a USB cable and an adapter. There is also a clip for the tray, and the best part is the presence of a branded headset.

The box in which the smartphone is sold is presentable. It is black and matte. It is made in the shape of a book and closes with a magnet. The model is indicated in large letters on the front, and some characteristics of the smartphone are presented on the back.

So different

It is probably not surprising that it receives positive reviews. From classic version it differs only in appearance. Its display has curved edges, just like its predecessor S6 Edge. Otherwise, this model does not differ from the version with a flat screen. The technical specifications of both phones are identical.

Insanely beautiful

The design of the Galaxy S7 received good reviews from owners. It has similarities with the previous model. The first thing that catches your eye is the modified edges of the body. They were made rounded and beveled. Owners no longer complain about inconvenience. Using the phone has become much more comfortable. Despite its rather large dimensions, it is comfortable to hold in one hand.

The screen size of the regular model was 5.1 inches, and the Edge became 5.5 inches. The flagship was given 2.5D glass, which visually made the gadget smaller. The main disadvantage of the new model is that the case is easily soiled.

Color solution

A new color scheme has been developed. But each of the shades is made in a calm color. It is matte and lacks the metallic effect. Gold, silver, black and white colors are available for users. The charcoal option looks best, although it will show up the most when it comes to dust and fingerprints.

Details

The thickness of the case is 8 millimeters. Considering the overall dimensions, the smartphone looks quite thin. It weighs a little - 152 grams. One of the most noticeable changes is the transformation of the camera: it now does not protrude above the surface of the cover, which means the risk of damage to it has been reduced. The Home key is softer. It is as if integrated into the body. Matte plastic was used for its manufacture.

On the front panel at the top there is a front camera, a speaker, notification and lighting sensors. The company logo also occupies its usual place. The back of the phone also looks very minimalistic: at the top in the middle is a square camera window, next to the LED flash. The logo is duplicated on the case cover.

The remaining elements of the body remained in their usual places. On the left side there is a volume rocker. On top there is a noise-canceling microphone, as well as a SIM card tray. On the right is the on/off button, and at the bottom, in addition to connectors for the charger and headphones, there is a main microphone and an external speaker grille.

Integrity

As always, the body of the new flagship is monolithic. It is impossible to disassemble it and replace the battery yourself. But you should understand that if something happens to the battery, it can be replaced at a service center.

Usually solidity also implies protection from water. If it was removed in the previous model, then new smartphone You can bathe again and not be afraid of anything. The protection standard here is, as always, IP68. Despite the fact that the charging connector is not covered with anything, the board has a special coating with a solution that repels liquid. The speakers and microphones are covered with a special membrane.

By the way, to prevent corrosion, all metal elements of the phone were subjected to special treatment. The Galaxy S7 Edge received different reviews from owners regarding this feature. Someone immediately rushed to blame the developers for the fact that after “bathing” the smartphone, the speakers began to work worse. This problem does occur, but it goes away immediately after the phone is completely dry.

Usage

Before we delve into the analysis of technical characteristics, it is worth mentioning the impressions of using the smartphone. Due to the fact that the battery has become more capacious, the size of the smartphone has increased. This is especially noticeable with the Galaxy S7 Edge version. Reviews on this matter are only positive. Despite the fact that the flagship has become visually larger, it is still comfortable to hold in your hand.

I was also pleased with the SIM card tray. The fact is that it has a rubberized insert that protects the gadget from dust. In general, all materials have become much stronger, which makes the device seem more reliable. Although there were owners who accidentally dropped the phone in the first few days, and then complained about the fragile glass.

Screen

If we talk about the regular version, the display has 5.1 inches and a SuperAMOLED matrix with incredibly rich and bright colors. Screen resolution QHD. Not only reviews, but also the opinion of competent specialists proves that the displays of the Korean company are the best. This fact is also confirmed by the fact that to this day many manufacturers are ready to buy outdated screen models for their gadgets from Koreans.

The Edge 32gb display is much more interesting. Reviews are more often found about this model. Revised version curved display, compared to the previous model, has become much more convenient. They really worked on it. Many S6 Edge users complained about incorrect operation screen. Accidental clicks on the sides of the display were often observed. They disappeared due to the fact that they corrected the shape of the body and rounded it a little. The sensor is working correctly.

Despite all the positive aspects of the display, there were still some unpleasant moments. Safety glass has received mixed reviews. Those who bought the film outright rarely complained. But those who hoped for technology were disappointed. The screen actually collects not only fingerprints, but also minor scratches. Moreover, you don’t need to make any special efforts to make them appear.

Display innovations

You probably shouldn't touch the colors and contrast of the screen. It is clear that SuperAMOLED always produces a slightly artificial picture, however, with very rich, rich and bright colors. The latest in the Samsung Galaxy S7 32gb has positive reviews.

For the new model, technology with a polarizing filter was invented. It was placed at an angle of 45 degrees. Now the screen is comfortable to use with sunglasses or using polarized glass.

The next innovation concerns automatic adjustment brightness The fact is that here it can work personally for each user. It is known that the perception of brightness may be different for each owner. Korean developers have introduced a system that could independently select lightness and color based on observations.

For the option to work, you need to use it for several days not only manual settings, but also automatic mode. The smartphone will remember all your wishes and will select the ideal screen parameters in the future. In practice, the option functions very efficiently and accurately.

Always in touch

There is also a new Always On option. When locked, the screen remains partially active. It can constantly show the time, calendar, notifications or just a picture. At first, the Galaxy S7 received negative reviews about this. Those who did not use this option believed that it could “gobble up” many percent of the charge.

Later it became known that instead of the stated 1-2% in 12 hours, a phone with Always On spends up to 10%. This indicator is quite subjective. For some reason, there is a waste of charge with this option on different phones can be different. However, the feature is really useful. You always have the clock, calendar, missed calls and messages in front of your eyes.

Memorable Changes

Last year, Koreans decided to abandon the memory card. They believed that 32, 64 and 128 GB would be enough for everyone. By and large, this is true. But in practice problems arose. The larger the volume internal memory, the more difficult it was to find a model with this version. There were no problems with the availability of Samsung Galaxy S7 32gb. Negative reviews began to appear.

In 2016, Samsung realized the mistake and returned support for the memory card. Now there are flagships with 32 and 64 GB of internal memory on sale. Whoever misses this will be able to purchase a memory card. The only thing is that in this case you will have to sacrifice one SIM card slot. This is due to the fact that the flagship has a hybrid slot that supports either two operators or one SIM card and one memory card.

RAM has increased to 4 GB. This will be quite enough to simultaneously support a bunch of tasks. The transfer speed here is 3 gigabytes per second. This option is a record holder among others.

It is worth mentioning the memory manager for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 32gb, reviews of which were negative in the previous model. This function often unloaded applications from memory at the wrong time, which sometimes caused indignation. So, the manager himself remained in the new flagship, but a mode was added to it, which still allows you to save in memory running applications, and unloads them only when necessary.

Such changes are very pleasant, considering that running software can be stored for a long time until the user needs it additional memory. As soon as it is needed, applications are sent to the buffer. I was also pleased with the speed of launching programs from the cache. Previously, software that was in memory launched so quickly, now even from the buffer, the smartphone unloads applications with lightning speed.

Powerful

Finally we got to the most interesting part. It is already clear that externally the flagship was able to conquer users. But for many, design is not fundamental. Most users need performance. There are good reviews about it for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and there are practically no shortcomings.

MALI T880 MP12 is responsible for graphics. The gadget is powered by Exynos 8890 Octa. There are versions that will receive the famous Qualcomm 820. In general, the opposition between these processors has existed on the market for a long time. Last year, the Koreans abandoned Qualcomm. Reviews about him were often negative. Users complained about the case getting very hot.

The rejection of this chipset greatly brought down Qualcomm shares. Still, many users prefer these processors. Objectively, Exynos is inferior to Snapdragon, but in practice this is not noticeable to the average user.

As a result, the Qualcomm version has its drawbacks. The main one is the rapid loss of battery charge. Compared to Exynos, this chipset loses 10% more operating time. The integration of Snapdragon with the camera also affects the speed of some functions. There are other disadvantages as well. Considering that the Koreans nevertheless prepared their flagship for the Exynos 8890 Octa processor, it is with it that the version is considered the most optimized.

Indicators

Regarding performance, you can find only positive reviews for the Galaxy S7. There are practically no shortcomings, but can only be noticed by the most picky users. Otherwise, the flagship shows only the highest results in synthetic benchmarks.

Of course, after more than 6 months, it may already be inferior to some Chinese gadgets. However, at the beginning of sales, record figures were presented: there were more than 101 thousand “parrots” in Antutu.

It must be said that this moment This is one of the most powerful processors, even after the release of the seventh iPhone. It remains very important that while it is fast, it shows excellent energy efficiency, optimization and power consumption.

operating system

The flagship came out with Android 6.0.1 OS. It has very good reviews for the Samsung Galaxy S7, and there are practically no shortcomings. Dissatisfaction sometimes occurs only regarding TouchWiz. However, the shell was redesigned and optimized for the operating system. The phone system now feels organic.

The menu remains as laconic as in the previous model. For some reason they removed it music player, so you will have to download it yourself. Some other software that was previously system software is also not here. Otherwise, everything remains virtually unchanged from the Galaxy S6.

Activity

As mentioned earlier, the size of the smartphone is due to the fact that the battery has become a little stronger - 3000 mAh. It is impossible to calculate how long the Samsung Galaxy S7 will last. It all depends on the user, software optimization, power consumption, and the quality of the charging unit.

On average, the phone safely survives until the evening. More economical people can last even two days. With continuous video playback, the phone works for about 12-13 hours. For charging there is not only microUSB, but also wireless power.

Photo/video

The Galaxy S7 camera received the expected reviews. Some owners complained about the quality of pictures from the front camera. But this opinion is rather subjective, because what can you expect from a 5 megapixel resolution. But the main camera takes pictures very well. It received 12 megapixels, which is quite strange, considering that the S6 version had 16 megapixels.

But such changes did not affect the quality of the images. On the contrary, everything has become much better. This is due to the fact that the pixel size has been increased to 1.4 microns. Thus, the matrix now receives more information. The module here is Sony IMX260. The aperture ratio was increased to 1.7.

In general, the camera software itself was equipped big amount"buns". In addition to the fact that adjustments for selfie shots are available in the new flagship, there are also a bunch of different modes. Photos at night are of high quality. There are new scenes and stories, as well as various camera settings.

Replacement

It is worth saying that the phone costs about 50-70 thousand rubles. For those who don't have that kind of money, there is another Galaxy version S7. The copy did not receive the best reviews. But what can you expect from a Chinese fake? The main feature of the “fake” flagship was almost identical to the original appearance. In addition, the price is also pleasing - only 6-7 thousand rubles.

The remaining indicators are still different. The copy has less powerful processor- MediaTek MT6735 ARM Cortex-A53. There are 4 cores here. The same Chinese chip is responsible for the graphics, but an order of magnitude cheaper and weaker - Mali-T720. The operating system here is more “ancient” - Android 5.0.2. None LTE networks. The quality of materials is also inferior to the original.

They speak negatively about technical specifications. If the original Galaxy S7 does not slow down at all and can perform a whole range of tasks, then its copy noticeably overheats and begins to lag under the slightest load.

Overall, this is a pretty good Chinese fake. But you need to keep in mind that no one will give you a guarantee on it. And there are a lot of phones similar to this model Chinese market. But unlike this copy, they are much higher quality and more powerful.

conclusions

Overall, the smartphone really turned out to be very cool. Outwardly, he is almost perfect. Of course, the version with curved display edges is more popular. Although there are also those who prefer the classic screen. The main disadvantage is in the Galaxy S7 protective glass. Reviews about it are not always good. This is most likely due to the assembly of the phone. Since there are buyers who have dropped their phone more than once, but the display remains intact. And there are those that could accidentally crush the display in a bag.

In general, if you want to buy this flagship for yourself, then it’s better to come to the store once again and touch it. In practice, it turns out that someone instantly falls in love with a model, while someone’s interest in her fades away.

From your own experience you can understand how high-quality the OS inside the gadget is. It’s also worth touching the screen itself and deciding on the S7/S7 Edge version. The phone turned out to be very subjective. Some people may find the display colors too bright, and even adjusting the settings won't help. Someone will be dissatisfied with the front camera. Some people still won’t be able to afford the cost of a flagship.

Analyzing the dry numbers, the smartphone really turned out to be good. Externally it is minimalistic, but inside it contains a whole range of options and parameters that later turn out to be vital. The Korean company has released very reliable smartphones, which are now some of the best on the market.

On sale next week. Although Samsung is confident in the success of its new products, some analysts do not agree with this due to the fact that, despite all its novelty and a number of advantages over the iPhone 6s, the South Korean flagship has a number of serious shortcomings.

1. Micro-USB connector instead of USB-C

Contrary to rumors, new samsung smartphone Didn't get a USB-C connector. The advanced interface, similar to the Lightning connector, allows the plug to be inserted on either side and is characterized by high-speed data transfer. For unknown reasons, the Koreans did not switch their gadgets to USB-C, although the owners of some flagship Android devices are already using the new interface with all their might. The same LG G5, presented a few hours apart, supports USB-C version 3.0 with fast charging and fast data transfer.

2. Non-removable battery

Android fans consider the non-removable battery to be one of the main disadvantages of the Galaxy S7. The debate over which is better, a built-in or replaceable battery, has been going on for years. A replaceable battery is vital for travelers who go for weeks without access to electricity. In addition, it can be used for an emergency reboot of the gadget. If necessary, a removable battery allows you to install a more capacious battery into your smartphone.

3. Slow fingerprint scanner

Unlike Apple, which improves the Touch ID fingerprint scanner in each generation of iPhone, Samsung decided to use new Galaxy S7 last year's module. Thus, unlocking smartphones will occur at the same speed and with the same number of errors as the Galaxy S6. According to initial user reviews, the smartphone takes a lot of time to process biometric information.

4. Lack of support for Quick Charge 3.0

Galaxy S6 supported Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging feature. After the release of Quick Charge 3.0, it was logical to assume that Samsung would implement this technology in the Galaxy S7, but this did not happen. Quick Charge 3.0 technology was introduced last year and allows you to charge your smartphone up to 80% in just 35 minutes.

5.Android

Decisive when choosing mobile device is operating system. And here, Galaxy S7 owners will have to put up with Android versions 6.0. No one will argue with the statement that the iOS interface is more convenient and friendly, and applications from App Store better quality and more reliable than competitors. At the same time, iOS does not suffer from malware; it does not have pre-installed operator programs that are filled with home Galaxy screen S7.

- excellent smartphones that have dominated the best rankings for a long time since their release.

We loved these flagships for their gorgeous screens, excellent quality builds and amazing cameras.

However, no smartphone is perfect, and the Samsung Galaxy S7 is no different. Common problems range from minor quirks to catastrophic hardware failures. You are not alone if you are faced with any problems, many Galaxy owners The S7 and S7 Edge have reported similar issues multiple times.

MicroSD card pop-up notifications

One of the most annoying glitches of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edgt is the pop-up card warning MicroSD memory, and this notification appears again and again, whether you turn it off or remove the memory card does not matter.

Some users encounter this problem only after rebooting their smartphone, others see it more often. You can obviously just skip the notification every time, but that's not too much good decision in the long term.

The problem usually appears (with some exceptions) when the Always-On Display feature is enabled. The green screen passes with switching to the lock screen. In some cases, the green screen appears on unlocked devices as well, in other cases the screen works fine after the device is unlocked.

If the screen switches to green, there is a high probability that the display is faulty and needs to be replaced. Contact Samsung as soon as possible to begin the restoration process. Some users have found that hard rebooting the phone, which is done by pressing and holding the power button and volume down, can solve the green screen problem, but only temporarily.

Another solution you can try is to go to AMOLED settings and try a different mode.

Go to Settings - Display - Screen Mode and select AMOLED Photo or Basic to see how this affects your problem. This solution also helps deal with green and purple streaks on the screen.

Galaxy S7 not responding with black screen

Some Samsung Galaxy S7 users have reported a "black screen of death" where the smartphone continues to function but does not wake up from sleep mode, regardless of the buttons pressed. The music will continue to play, the notification indicator will continue to blink, but there is no way to wake up the smartphone.

The temporary fix requires a hard reset, which is accomplished by holding down the power button and volume down button simultaneously for 10 seconds. This combination will force the smartphone to reboot. If a hard reset doesn't work, you can try starting your Galaxy S7 in Safe Mode.

Here's how to get into Safe Mode on your Samsung Galaxy S7:
Hold the Power button until the Samsung Galaxy logo appears;
At the same time, release the Power button and press (hold) the Volume down key;
Keep the Volume Down key pressed until the device boots up completely. You will know that your smartphone has entered safe mode when you see “ Safe mode"(Safe Mode) in the lower left corner of the screen;

If your phone no longer experiences the black screen issue again, it means that one of the apps you download is causing the problem. Remember last changes to see if you've recently installed apps that might be causing the problem, then uninstall it. It's also worth checking availability updated versions installed applications, perhaps the error has been fixed by the developer.

As a last resort, you can try resetting your phone to factory settings through the recovery menu. Please note that a factory reset will erase all information on your phone, so make sure to back up your photos, documents and music before proceeding.

Once you see the Android logo, you can release all buttons. Your phone is in emergency recovery mode in which you can select Factory Reset by using the Volume Up and Down keys. When the Factory Reset section is highlighted, press the Power button to begin the process.

Wi-Fi keeps cutting out

This is a very problematic bug, but some users have recommended turning off Bluetooth in order to get a more stable wifi signal. This is not a perfect solution, but to resolve this issue you will have to contact Samsung for a software update. Be sure to check Settings - Software Update to see if there are any updates available.

Alternatively, you could try resetting your network settings. To do this, go to Settings – General Management– Reset – Reset network settings – Reset settings.

If this doesn't solve the problem, check to see if there is a firmware update for your router. There are various methods to update the router firmware, please refer to the user manual.

Camera glitches

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are equipped great cameras, but that doesn't mean anything if you can't run the camera. Users have reported that the camera app crashes with a "Warning: Camera Failed" notification.

The simplest solution is to simply restart your smartphone, which may solve the problem. If rebooting does not resolve the error, try clearing the camera app cache. You can do this by going to Settings - Applications - Application Manager, and there find the “Camera” application.
