Work at MGTS without experience. Working conditions and salary level

I’ll say right away that I was looking for a job as a driver with a REGULAR working day (which is very difficult to do now), albeit for little money.

At the interview (which took place in several stages) they promised a normalized working day. And they not only promised, but also showed (at the second stage of the interview, with the head of the convoy at the base) what time their cars would arrive.

It was also said at the interview that Moscow is divided along the equator and they have two bases - Northern and Southern. Drivers travel in the North or South, respectively. They transport repair teams, which, in turn, also serve the Northern or Southern regions. I live in the North of Moscow, so I will be assigned to the Northern Base, located at Likhoborskaya Naberezhnaya, 13.

Great, I think this is transportation optimization!

This definitely suits me.

Settled. Completed a two-day internship.

Then he sat behind the wheel of a ZIL, replacing, however, a guy who was on vacation. For two weeks.

Then they promised to transfer me to Sobol, since the person had to quit there.

There were some mistakes there (when working at ZIL), of course, but that’s not the point. Rather, there were working moments. They will be found everywhere. And, in general, everything was as it should be, it seemed to me.

As the saying goes, when it seems like it, you should be baptized.

Having boarded this damn Sobol (assigned to the fiber optic communication center at 56 Fabricius St.), the first thing I did was to note to myself that the working day was indicated on the waybill:

Check out: 7-40

Return: 17-20.

What is it?

40 minute daily recycling?

At ZIL it was, for example, from 8-00 to 17-00.

For other drivers (at least for the mentor) - 7:00 -16:00.

A normal 8-hour work day with a lunch break.

What about me?

Where is the 40 hour work week specified in the Employment Contract?

The boss said - this is necessary, you are paid for it. In addition, he added that today you will leave at 17-20, and tomorrow they can let you go at 14-30...

As life has shown, this has never happened to me subsequently.

In general, I spat. 40 minutes - so be it, not the point.

It turned out that repairmen (fiber optics) have a piece-rate salary and, accordingly, the more you do, the better.

The repairmen's bosses, it turns out, are in Chertanovo, exactly not far from the Southern Base. Accordingly, it’s more convenient for them to work there too... And there’s only one repairman, he lives in Podolsk.

In short, they began to slowly (not immediately, of course) drive me to station 323, on Chertanovskaya Street. From Likhoborskaya Embankment, yeah.

We had to leave at 7 am. And to come.. When it was 18-00, when it was 19-00..

Once I managed to arrive right at 20-30.

The next day - an explanatory note is sent to the boss's desk.

But, excuse me - for what?

What WRONG did I commit?

The boss said that he arrived at the base late, in general, that’s how it should be!

Should I have cleared the traffic jams with my hands?

Or fight with repairmen for your right to work according to the approved schedule?

No, he says, I had to tell them (I mean, tell me) that my work day is ending, wrap it up guys!

Well, that's what I said, but what's the point? They need to earn money..

Such things should be decided through the authorities.

But the authorities, apparently, do not want to expose themselves and demand explanations.

And also, the mileage of cars is limited. If you run too far, they will check you using GLONASS. At the same time, you feel like a naughty schoolboy. And I’m 39 years old... But this is explained by the fight against gasoline drainage. In my case, this is nonsense, since the average mileage was sometimes 150 km when the norm was 70 km.

In short, for the last week before I left, I went to Chertanovo EVERY DAY and we worked either in Butovo or in the area of Brick Vyemki Street..

I once again told the repairmen that if I was from the South, I needed to leave in about three hours... But I was sent with the words that there was a certain “Agreement with the bases”, which stipulated that drivers should be released FROM ANY POINT in the city of Moscow, need no earlier than 16-00. And, if you leave earlier, leaving them, then a report will be sent to you.

I asked the boss, telling him this - is it really true?

Yes, the boss answered.

Can I write a report against them if I am detained beyond measure (sometimes they worked until 18-00) or do they work in Butovo, and not in the North?

No. Only explanatory.

Incredibly cool!

I wonder why repairmen have the right to write reports to drivers, but not vice versa?

So, in this way, I worked my last week, all in anticipation that the moment would soon come and my team would move to work on the street. Fabricius, where the car was assigned, and not to drive from North to South and back...

But I didn’t wait.

Moreover, on my last day of work, on Friday (a shortened day throughout the Company), I was also released at 16-00, with the prospect of reporting there for them on Monday morning.

I arrive at the base at seven o’clock, without any doubt that another explanatory note is already waiting for me there..

I made no mistake, because that’s how it was.

On Monday I just stupidly blacklisted all of their phones. And left.

Because they got it.

This review is for those who are looking for a job as a driver at MGTS.

I was the only one unlucky or not - I don’t know, but by the time I arrived at the base, all the cars were already in their places and only stray dogs were running around and the wind was howling...

Oh, yes, there was also an on-duty mechanic and a watchman.

So, after all, for me. And to the one who comes to this place after me. And further along the chain, until there is a Komsomol member who wants to live in this car, driving from North to South and back (where the logisticians are looking - conclusion: someone from this brigade has cronyism, well, or kickback, sir), during breaks standing at attention, holding the answer, either in front of your superiors, or in front of the repairmen...

In general terms, they don’t cheat during an interview, but this is only until there is a vacancy for this team..

This is where the lies will be revealed in all their glory.

But, unfortunately, there is no way to check this.
