Effects

Picmonkey offers a ton of effects that you can use to decorate your photo. Some of them are free and some are paid. However, you can try them all on canvas. I was impressed by the effects of lens flare, sharpening, high dynamic range (HDR), etc. Here is an example of the Lens Flare effect.

Using the Focus Softening effect, you can highlight the element you want and blur the rest of the image.

I tried almost all the available effects and I can say that the Picmonkey team really did their best here.

Use this section to add text to your photo. Picmonkey offers a wide selection of fonts. You can also use your own system fonts. But the text formatting tools seemed weak to me.

Additional visual materials can definitely make your photo more colorful. This is done using overlay. You can add other images/pictures using Picmonkey's Overlay feature.
