How to find a lost meizu phone. Find, identify a stolen Meizu phone via the Internet, search, check m9 and other phones using the imei database in Russia. How to find a lost Meizu smartphone via Flyme

Today we’ll talk about the FLYME cloud service, or rather that part of it, thanks to which you can try to find stolen or lost MEIZU smartphone, see a photo of the “new owner” of your smartphone, contact him, or delete all data from the smartphone remotely.

In general, MEIZU smartphones, which are gaining popularity in Russia, have a lot of different software features. Everything is inside its own FLYME shell. Here you can get ROOT on your smartphone in a couple of clicks, and built-in call recording functions (including automatic recording of all conversations, or only from certain subscribers), and good opportunities on data protection, where you can block the launch of individual, including third-party, applications. Don’t want your child to play games on your smartphone, or your colleagues/wife/husband, taking advantage of your temporary absence, to go through your email, SMS correspondence, your social networks or gallery? Set a startup password for these applications. And without a password, the application simply will not start. There are many features in FLYME, but today we will look at the most interesting, in my opinion: remote control of smartphone!

So, using the FLYME cloud service on MEIZU smartphones you can:

  • Synchronize your contacts, SMS, notes (from the native Notepad application), as well as Calendar and Call History, contact blacklist, passwords WiFi points, browser bookmarks. All this is configured here: Settings - Accounts - My FLYME - Data synchronization.
  • Open ROOT access without losing the warranty on your smartphone: Settings - Accounts - My FLYME - Profile icon - Open access to the system.
  • If you lose your smartphone, make it possible to search for your phone: Settings - Accounts - My FLYME -Search for phone.

Let's get started, I guess. From your MEIZU smartphone we register a FLYME account. To do this, you need to fill out the fields of the registration form: enter your nickname, come up with a password from 8 to 16 characters, including Latin letters or numbers (without special characters), enter your existing one in the “Mail Security” field Mailbox, to which, if you forget your account password, you can recover it. Next, click the “Register” button - and your account is ready!

In general, the FLYME account in MEIZU smartphones is a very important story. The account is linked to the smartphone almost tightly. Once logged in, it does not matter whether you will reflash the device in the future with full reset data, whether you delete all the information on your smartphone, the account will still be linked to the device. Until you personally unlink your account from your smartphone via the web interface (entering a password to confirm the unlinking), or log out of your account on your smartphone (the same with entering a password, otherwise you won’t be able to sign out). Thus, as long as your FLYME account is linked to your smartphone, the device is under your control. Even if you no longer have it. This is especially important to consider for those who buy a used smartphone, or place an order from China from all sorts of flea markets, such as Ali and others. If you received a MEIZU smartphone with a linked account (a very common story with smartphones from Avito or AliExpress) - and this is easy to understand: you simply cannot register on such a device new account FLYME, - the old owner (or an unscrupulous seller) of a smartphone will be able to find out a lot of interesting things about you. We'll tell you what exactly below!

So, in the FLYME account settings you can set data synchronization, everything is simple and clear here. We will look into the possibility remote control smartphone. To do this, we will need to use a computer and open the website https://cloud.flyme.cn. Unfortunately, the service is currently primarily intended for residents of China, but Russians can also use it. One minus is that the site interface is only in Chinese for now. If you have Google browser Chrome, I recommend downloading and installing the extension " Google Translate", with its help you can quite correctly and clearly translate the Chinese website interface into Russian in 1 click: . Below I will post screenshots of the site with translation, if anything - you can navigate which buttons to press :) All pictures are clickable!

We get to the Personal Account.

Here, in the top center, is a drop-down list of all devices on which you activated your FLYME account (if you had several smartphones).

Having expanded the list, we see all the devices on which your FLYME account is active. From this list you can log out of your account remotely. IMPORTANT! When you log out of your account through the website, the data on your smartphone will be cleared. All applications and data will be erased, except photos, music, books and movies, downloaded files (but not applications). If you log out of your FLYME account from your smartphone, you can check the box to delete data, but it is not necessary. When you exit through the site, deletion is inevitable. By pressing the blue remote exit button, the system will ask you for your password again to confirm the operation. After entering it, the smartphone will reboot and you will be logged out of your account and the data will be deleted.

If the smartphone is online, the green sign “Online” will light up under it, and the picture of the device will show the screen turned on. If your smartphone is not connected to the network in this moment— its icon will be gray.

Important note! All services and remote control commands work via the Internet. That is, the smartphone must be online. Until the smartphone is connected to the Internet, the commands will not be executed; they will hang around waiting. As soon as the smartphone gains access to the network, command execution will begin immediately. No warnings.

So, from the drop-down list of connected smartphones, you can log out of your account remotely, resetting the data from the device. What other buttons do we see in the interface?

From left to right: Contacts, SMS, Notes from a notepad, Phone search.

In the contacts menu you can view contacts synchronized with the service. There you can edit them, delete them or add new ones manually. Right there, by clicking on the gear button, you can import or export contacts to a file. Let me remind you that the translation was achieved using the Chrome browser, the original interface is in Chinese.

In the SMS menu you can see a list of all synchronized SMS messages from your smartphone (I hid mine). From here you can also delete individual messages from the device when the cursor selects a message in the right block (on a white background). Due to the fact that FLYME servers are located in China, wait for the data to load; it can sometimes take about a minute or two.

In Notepad's Notes menu, you can see all the notes synchronized from your smartphone. Right there, remotely, they can be created, edited or deleted. A kind of EverNote.

And finally, the most interesting menu - SEARCHING FOR A PHONE. Here I will immediately give two screenshots of what the buttons look like in the original and the inscriptions for them with a translator from Google. Since in the second case the inscriptions overlap each other.

Consider a window with a smartphone. In the top right, above the phone icon, we see a drop-down menu from the list of smartphones to which your account is connected. You can quickly switch between different devices, if there are several MEIZU smartphones under your account. At the top left is the device location search update button.

It is worth noting that the location of your smartphone will be determined relatively accurately only if in the smartphone settings you have allowed your location to be determined by GPS, and the GPS receiver is turned on on the smartphone itself. Otherwise, the location will be determined either very tentatively or not at all (if you have disabled location determination in the smartphone settings: Settings - Location - active checkbox for "Location", WiFi and GPS are checked). The map of Russia on the site takes quite a long time to load; for faster loading, reduce the scale: the map for Russia, alas, does not have a large scale.

Immediately below the smartphone icon is the name of the device, whether it is marked on the network or not, and if the location is successfully determined, there is a link to a drop-down list with the history of the device’s movement. Updated frequently.

Now comes the fun part: let’s look at the 4 action icons. Let's start with the right: the basket. By clicking it, you completely delete ALL data from your smartphone. Not only applications, but also photos, music, and all data in general. It will no longer be possible to restore them, only install them again. By clicking this button, you will be asked to enter the password for your FLYME account, after which all data will be deleted from the smartphone as soon as it is online. Use with caution only when you are absolutely sure that all data needs to be deleted. Yes, all data will be deleted, but the account will remain linked to the device!

Button with lock. Locks the smartphone screen tightly until you enter your FLYME password on the device screen. With a locked screen, you won't even be able to reflash your device. In fact, you will have a “brick” with an offer to unbrick by entering a password. After clicking this button on the site, a confirmation will appear whether you are sure that you want to block the smartphone, and by clicking the blue “yes!” button. — the smartphone will be blocked as soon as it goes online! While the screen is locked, you can only open the notification shade to rotate the screen orientation, and start entering the password by bringing up the keyboard on the screen (it will work). Nothing else. It will be impossible to enter the bootloader until unlocked (it will not be possible to reflash). This is what the screen will look like:

Third button from the right - send deleted message . Works with any language. Using this button, you can send a pop-up message to the smartphone screen for the new owner of your device. Any message, any length, any number of times. The message will be shown on top of all windows. This is what it looks like on a smartphone:

And the leftmost, but most necessary button is remote camera! With its help, you can take a photo from the front camera of your smartphone at any time when the device has Internet access. Or the photo will be taken as soon as the device goes online. The picture is taken silently and there is no way to understand on a smartphone whether you are taking a photo or not. You can take any number of pictures. The main thing is to catch the new owner looking at the smartphone screen. More on this below, but for now let’s talk about how the button works. Press the camera button, and after 5 seconds the smartphone will quietly take a photo from the front camera. Or as soon as it gains access to the network. The photo will then be automatically sent to you immediately. Where can I see the photo?

The very bottom line of the window, under the camera button. Click and a window will open in which all the pictures from the front camera that you requested to take for your smartphone will be presented. Please note that it takes some time to send the photo; servers in China are far away and not very fast, so the photo may appear only a couple of minutes after it is taken. Just refresh the page.

Above are examples of pictures I requested from my smartphone while it was lying on the table. So yellow - because it was filmed at night in dim room lighting. By pointing at the photo, we get a pop-up hint in Chinese, it suggests deleting the unnecessary photo. If you just click on the photo, it will open in full size:

And, it would seem, here’s some entertainment for you if you lose your smartphone. Sit and wait, seize the moment when the new owner gets around to playing with the device so that his face is in front of the front camera. But no, MEIZU engineers have thought of everything!

As soon as your smartphone is identified on the map, an additional window will appear on the right, where the smartphone itself will be and to the right - the speaker button. This is what we need. Another feature: remote phone search! It will also come in handy if you dropped your smartphone somewhere in the apartment, but don’t remember where.

By clicking on the speaker button, a new window will open where we will be asked to turn on the siren on the smartphone. The Play button in the center is a preliminary listening to the signal, and to start the siren, you need to press the blue button at the bottom right. Click and the phone will start playing the siren sound at maximum volume. Important point: There is no way to turn off the sound, be careful. It will play for exactly 2 minutes, at maximum volume. There is no way to turn it off from your smartphone: neither by lowering the volume, nor by changing the profile, nor by any other method. After 2 minutes, the siren will stop wailing automatically. At the same time, during the howl, no information on the smartphone about what is happening will be shown.

This is where the trick comes in. We turn on the siren on the smartphone, the new owner of your device grabs it in his hands: he yells at full volume, like why, why? Starts digging through the device menu, trying to turn off the sound. At this moment, take a photo with the front camera! And now, you already have several photos of the new owner of the device. All that remains is to wait for them to be loaded onto the site.

At the top right, next to your profile icon, there are two more links in Chinese. The first of them gives instructions on what actions should be taken first if you lose your smartphone: call the bank and freeze your cards (if they are linked to the phone), change passwords for mail, social networks and other services, block and reissue the SIM card, inform about the loss to law enforcement agencies. And the second button leads to the forum (on Chinese), where s using Google Translator can find dozens of stories of successful return of a smartphone after loss or theft using the FLYME service!
As can be seen from the article above, MEIZU smartphones offer their users a very interesting cloud service to synchronize data and even help find a missing smartphone! But this is just one of the nice features of the FLYME shell. Soon I will try to write articles about other features of this system!

MEIZU smartphones are sold in Russia officially, with support, warranty and service. You can learn more about smartphones and buy them on the company’s official website:

In order not to accidentally end up with a fake in your hands, you need to take care of checking your smartphone for authenticity. Even if it concerns Meizu. It’s quite easy to check a Meizu device for originality when purchasing. And you can do this in several ways at once, so as not to worry about the reliability of the result.

How to find out the IMEI number on a smartphone

The most effective way to find out if a Meizu smartphone is fake is to check your purchase using IMEI. To find out if the code programmed into the phone itself matches the codes on the box and body of the device, you must first find the IMEI. This can be done in two ways:

1. Dial the code *#06# on the keyboard and wait until a message with the number appears;

2. Go to Settings and look at the code in the “About phone” section.

On the box, the code is located on a barcode sticker. There is also serial number, which we will need a little later.

If the smartphone supports not one SIM card, but two, then the IMEI will be in duplicate. To verify the authenticity of a Meizu smartphone, you only need the first one.

How to check Meizu IMEI

First of all, the received code must be compared with similar ones on the box, in the warranty card and on the back of the smartphone. If the codes are different, it means that the device was not sold in its original box or was disassembled and refurbished before sale. This is definitely not original.

If no problems were found when comparing IMEI, you need to check it in another way. You need to go to the website http://www.imei.info/ and enter the code in the appropriate line. There should be at least some information. Ideally, as much data as possible about the smartphone, as in the screenshot.

If it matches the device model, it means the code is correct, and with a high degree of probability you have the original in your hands.

How to check Meizu by serial number

In addition to running the IMEI, it is advisable to also check the serial number of the phone. It is similarly located on the back and on the box of the device. You can find it directly in the device program by entering the code *#0001# through dialing.

Once the required code is obtained, you can begin comparison. The procedure is the same as for IMEI comparison. If the codes match everywhere, it means that the likelihood of forgery is minimal. Provided that such an IMEI exists, of course.

By the way, you can check the MEID in the same way if it is on the box and smartphone. But not every device has such a code.

Final testing

If even this data is not enough for peace of mind, you can register your smartphone with Flyme. A non-original device will not be able to pass authorization, since this requires a real version operating system Flyme OS. But they never install it on fakes.

Meizu Flyme account registration. In some series of smartphones Chinese company Meizu has its own operating system called Flyme. How to recover Flyme password?

Every person has found himself in a situation where he forgot the password for something. If the user cannot remember the password that he set in his Flyme account, it can always be restored. To do this you need to go to a special website. Unfortunately, it is in Chinese, since Meizu smartphones are made in China. If you have a browser installed Google Chrome then you can set Google extension A translator will have no problems understanding the site.

Flyme account helps in different cases: you can create a copy of the data just in case, transfer information from one smartphone to another, or you can find your smartphone. I’ll tell you how it works now using the example of a built-in function. To simplify the story, I will divide the text into several parts.

AccountFlyme

To activate the smartphone search function, you need a Flyme account. If you don’t have it, then there’s no point in looking. How to create a Flyme account? Register directly on your smartphone, come up with a name, password, and enter your email address. That's all, the process is quick and takes about 5 minutes. You also link your phone number to your account; it will be useful in your search.

Activate the smartphone search function

After you wait a bit, the phone shows the position on the map. The search sometimes takes up to 3-5 minutes, so you need to be patient, it all depends on the position, the quality of the signal, so don’t worry if the smartphone doesn’t indicate the coordinates with lightning speed.

Looking for a smartphone

You can search for your favorite gadget through an application on your smartphone if you have a spare one. Another option is to run a search through your browser. But in this case, additional manipulations need to be done.

Download Chrome browser, after which you put Google plugin A translator will help you understand what is written on the Chinese website, where there is no Russian menu yet.

To get to the search section, enter your username and password. Then open the list of devices and select the one you need. You can see where the phone is now and also track its movement history. If necessary, turn on the alarm on your device.

To do this, the phone must be connected to the Internet, no matter whether it has a SIM card or uses Wi-Fi. If your smartphone is somewhere at home, and you don’t want to scare your household with a loud, harsh melody, then manually turn off the sound. Well, if there is no such desire, you can run an alarm notification even indefinitely. Moreover, nothing is displayed on the device’s screen at all, there is simply a very loud sound coming through the speaker; an intruder or a random passer-by who found the device simply cannot turn off this signal.

You, in turn, can take photos remotely by launching front camera on the phone. The smartphone takes photos without sound, so no one will even guess that a photo is being taken, and you will get proof that someone else is using your device.

After this, you can send a message to your phone asking to return the device. Alternatively, you can also remotely block your Meizu smartphone. In this case, it will simply turn into a useless thing - to unlock it you need to enter the password for your Flyme account. Otherwise it will be impossible to turn it on or reflash it. Another option is that you can delete all data from the device. True, nothing can be restored; the phone will be without your personal information, but at the same time it will still save your account data, another person will not be able to use it.

The main thing is to remember that all this works while the phone is connected to the Internet. Now, in principle, the scenario of using a smartphone without mobile internet and without Wi-Fi, but you never know.

Contacts, messages, notes, photos are also stored in the Flyme cloud, but we won’t talk about that now.

I note that through the website you can disable your Flyme account on the selected device, but in this case the data on the smartphone will be deleted with the exception of photos, audio and video. That is, all data will disappear even before installed applications, so be careful.

Results

As you can see, everything is easy to set up, the system works reliably and efficiently. The main thing is to enter all the data in advance and calmly use your smartphone, and not tear your hair out when you are left without a device. Remember that they don’t wave their fists after a fight, that is, you shouldn’t be offended by the manufacturer if you didn’t spend a few minutes specifying the necessary parameters and enabling this reliable function to search for a Meizu smartphone.

IMEI - International Mobile Equipment Identity- International Mobile Equipment Identifier - a number of 15 characters, assigned to all mobile devices Meizu companies, incl. and models: MX 4-core 64Gb, m9, mx2 32gb 64gb and others, when manufactured at the manufacturer Meizu. This unique number of the Meizu device is located in many places: on the device itself (usually under the battery), on the packaging box, in the ROM - the phone's firmware, and when connected to the network, it is transmitted to the telecom operator's server. In developed countries: in Europe and America, this system for finding stolen phones is mature and effective; even if the SIM card is changed, the phone will not work in any cellular network.

In Russia, due to an imperfect system of prosecution and punishment, returning a stolen cell phone or tablet through imei is problematic. The rightful owner will need to be persistent and patient in order to find and return his equipment.

And if the phone is still found, in order for it to work properly again and successfully log in to its network, it may have to be restored after hacking or flashing. On such a device, you must first make a diagnosis. I wouldn't like to receive any spyware which will send SMS to paid numbers. Some other repairs may be required, the screen, microphone, speaker. How to find and find out if you have a Meizu phone or tablet?

Phone IMEI, tablet and any other modern mobile device from Meizu, is located in at least four places:

  1. - in the flash memory of Maisie’s device. You can see it by typing the command *#06# , then call.
  2. - there is a plate under the battery with the serial number and imei of the phone on it.
  3. - on the packaging - a cardboard box from a mobile phone.
  4. - in the warranty card located in the box from the Meizu phone.

How to find out Maisie's imei phone number and protect yourself when buying it? Before paying for the phone, it is advisable to find and compare all four of these imei codes: on the Maisy MX 4-core 64Gb phone, on the packaging, in the warranty card and in the ROM memory of the device. Of course, they all must be the same and have no traces of counterfeiting.

How to return a lost Meizu phone via imei?

How do you find phones by imei? This was described earlier; the unique imei number of a Meizu cell phone must be blacklisted - in the database of stolen phones and wait for it to “light up” in the operator’s network. The database of stolen emei is replenished by the police based on statements from citizens and should be located in all telecom operators. Such phones should be blocked immediately after connecting to the network. Next, the location of such a phone must be determined and a signal sent to the police “The stolen Meizu mx2 32gb 64gb phone has been found - It is here...”. In countries where operators maintain blacklists, stolen phones become just a useless piece of plastic, worth nothing and are most often used for spare parts or for IMEI reprogramming.

Therefore the question arises: Is it possible to change the IMEI of Maisie mx2 32gb 64gb and other models? Yes and no, it is possible, but not on all devices. On old phones and cheap ones Chinese phones craftsmen change IMEI; on new models of devices, replacing IMEI is practically impossible. Manufacturers, in particular Meizu, are constantly improving protection against flashing. It is also necessary to add that such actions with the phone are criminally punishable. There are examples when people received sentences for such things. If we do not take into account Western countries, for example, in Kazakhstan there is an article under which you can get up to three years in prison for reflashing your device. In other countries maximum terms penalties can reach 5-8 years in prison. In Russia, such actions are qualified under Articles 272 and 273 of the Criminal Code Russian Federation. In judicial practice there were both cases of indictments with a sentence of three years of suspended imprisonment and acquittals.

What to do when buying a new or used Meizu phone or tablet?

If you have any suspicions, do not buy a stolen phone or tablet. It is easy to identify the new owner of a Meizu phone, and then you will have to explain where the mobile phone came from, who sold it, who stole it, etc. In order not to run into a stolen Maisie m9 phone, this model and others, you need to check everything. You only need to buy a phone as a complete set - phone, original Charger, instructions with warranty card, packaging. If all this is there, you need to check the IMEI on the box, on the sticker under the battery, in the warranty card, and display the number on the 3.54-inch screen of the Meizu m9 phone with the command *#06#. The following should raise suspicion: not complete equipment, scuffs near imei numbers on the box, coupon and under the battery, a crooked sticker on the phone if there are traces of its re-sticking. It is better to refuse to buy such a mobile phone.

My phone was stolen, how to find a lost Meizu phone using imei?

  • You need to contact the Police. In the application, you must write emei of the stolen device and attach copies of documents confirming ownership of it. Next, the police must make a formal request to the company cellular communication. The police, knowing the location of the phone, must pick it up and return it to the owner.
  • Only from the experience of such cases is it known that all this is done for a long time and reluctantly. But with a certain amount of “luck”, despite all the circumstances preventing this, a Maisie MX 4-core 64Gb phone of this or another model can be found.
  • Alternative search for Meizu phone - definition cell phone through private imei databases. There are sites on the Internet where, by making a request, you can find out whether someone has blacklisted you or not. In the same way, having lost mobile phone or a tablet, you can add it imei to these lists, in the hope that someone, someday, will find it and return it to you contact information, left on the site.
