How to install a receipt printer. Installation, installation and configuration of receipt printers - printing programs and preparation for work. How to Install a New Label Printer

Good day, friends! Coming out today a new version store accounting program - 1.0.0.41! Where it became possible to connect a USB receipt printer to print sales receipts. Now, every time the user presses the “Sell” button in “Seller Mode”, the sales receipt is automatically sent for printing.

How to set up a receipt printer in a store accounting program?

Let's start with the fact that the user connected, installed the drivers and configured the printer to work correctly, even sent test page to print and everything went smoothly. Next, what you need to do is launch the program and go to “Settings - Application Settings” of the program.

A section for setting up a receipt printer has appeared on the “General” tab.

In the drop-down list, the user must select the desired printer and set the width of the receipt tape - 80 mm or 58 mm. Then click the “OK” button and the settings will be saved in the program. You only need to configure it once; in the future, the settings will be loaded automatically.

In the “Trade - Seller Mode” mode of the program warehouse accounting, next to the large “Sell (F10)” button, a checkbox “Print sales receipt when selling” appeared. If the checkbox is checked, the sales receipt is automatically printed when you click on the “Sell (F10)” button; if the user does not want receipts to be printed, the checkbox is not checked.

Also, if for some reason the user wants to print a sales receipt for an existing sale, then to do this, you need to go to the “Trade - Sales” mode. Then find the required order, place the cursor on it and select “Sales receipt” in the “Documents” drop-down menu. A receipt for this order will be sent for printing.

Customer Reviews

I found your site on the Internet and downloaded the demo version. I have never used any software to keep track of trade before. I quickly figured out the functionality of the program, everything is intuitive. The program works well, without any glitches. I was interested in the function of discount cards. We look forward to future updates to the program. My rating is 5+.

Artem Valkov, book and toy store Severodonetsk, Ukraine

Everything is quite simple and clear, I figured it out in just a few hours. What and where to deposit, where to write off from and where to look at the store’s profit. And the most important thing for me is that now I don’t have to constantly remember which product has what discount - I just entered everything into the database and the program calculates everything itself. This program solved all our problems, and we were pleased with the price for such functionality. I recommend to everyone!

Temekov Daniyar, gift shop Fantik.kz Almaty, Kazakhstan Program for Shopuchet store

Shopuchet program - perfect option for small businesses. Intuitive interface and that's it necessary functions. It is very convenient that in the list of goods you can see the balance in the warehouse and the number of goods on sale, so you don’t have to generate several reports to compare data to find out the balance of the warehouse. And when importing goods from Excel appeared, it became even easier to work, this function helps save time and avoid errors when filling out manually.

When automating a warehouse or trade, connecting the Evotor printer will expand the capabilities of the cash terminal. This need arises when there is no barcode on the product or the coding system differs from the accepted one. Labels with price tags can be printed on receipt paper, which is convenient when trading goods by weight.

Capabilities of the Evotor label printer

The Evotor smart terminal allows you to connect both entry-level devices and mobile devices. The latter are indispensable when working in warehouses or field sales. They are compact and can function regardless of location and time of day. Mobile label printer Evotor works autonomously from battery and connects via wireless Wi-Fi connections or Bluetooth.

For labeling retail goods, making tags for clothing, or marking inventory items (inventory items) in warehouses, entry-level devices are most in demand. The devices combine the following positive qualities:

  • easy setup;
  • accessible operation;
  • compact dimensions;
  • reliability;
  • reasonable cost.

The Evotor printer is connected via USB port using a cable. Unlike mobile devices, which are capable of producing up to 2 thousand labels, this type of equipment prints up to 5 thousand labels per day. The device is widely used in small and medium-sized retail outlets.

The Evotor smart terminal has a built-in device for printing receipts. It is located in the rear section of the device. The built-in receipt printer Evotor prints at a speed of 75 mm per second, which is a standard indicator for this class. The device uses thermal paper, the width of which is 57 mm, and the permissible roll diameter is 45 mm.

How to connect an Evotor label printer

To connect a wireless mobile device, you must first activate the Bluetooth connection. On the terminal display, in the “More” section, you need to select settings and click Bluetooth. Then move the switch button to the right position. Select HPRT MLP2 printer.

After this, a Bluetooth connection confirmation window will appear, where you must enter the PIN code supplied with the equipment and click OK. Then in the settings you should select the “Hardware” section, and then add a device. Figuring out how to connect the Evotor label printer is quite simple, since the terminal has an accessible interface.

To connect an entry-level device, you do not need to make any additional settings. You just need to connect the appropriate cable that comes with the terminal to the USB connector of the terminal. An external label roller holder is available as an option. Thus, the BP21 Evotor Printer has a built-in driver, which greatly simplifies the connection process.

Setting up the Evotor printer

The smart terminal allows you to independently configure the information on the receipt that the buyer will see. You can display the name of the retail establishment, set a greeting, or other information on the cash register coupon. To do this, go to the settings, then open the “Directories” section and click “KKM receipt templates”. Here you can enter text in the header or bottom part check.

Setting up the Evotor printer will allow you to quickly change the cash register information. If difficulties arise during operation, then in the software ( software) the terminal has a help section. Contained here detailed information not only about the printer settings, but also other devices.

The question of how to connect a receipt printer is not at all simple. This process is not always easy. First you need the printer to work correctly in operating system. Even with a regular printing device there are sometimes difficulties, and even more so with a check device.

Connecting a receipt printer to a computer

You should start by registering the printer in the operating system. Until it works there, there is no point in moving on and setting it up in 1C. So install the device driver first. Usually it comes with the printer itself.

As a rule, such devices are connected via USB. As soon as you connect the device to your computer, the system will require a driver. Then just specify the path to the file.

If there is no disk with the driver, then you can try downloading it from the manufacturer’s official website. You can also try to connect the device and let the operating system look for the driver itself. But it’s not a fact that she can handle it, because the equipment is quite specific.

After installation, you should check if everything went well:

  • Open the Start menu, select Control Panel - Devices and Printers. Your receipt printer should also be on the list of equipment.
  • Go to the settings and specify paper properties, cropping, print speed and other necessary parameters. If this is not done, checks will be printed in the wrong format.
  • Open the printer properties and select “Test Print” there. Look what happened.
  • If all is well, you can proceed to setting up 1C.

Setting up a receipt printer in 1C Enterprise

Basic printer settings vary depending on which version of 1C you are using. For 1C 8 or 7 the settings will be quite different. In the settings window you can see visualized paper parameters. You can change them right away.

Select the printer you want to print from the list of devices, then specify the paper size in the page settings (yes, this has already been indicated, but you may need to do it again). Try typing something. It happens that the size is indicated correctly, but the receipt still does not fit. Then check the box next to “Fit to sheet width”.

Sometimes the 1C Enterprise program uses a modified settings configuration. Then you will need to specify the printer name in the constants. You can find it by opening the Start menu, going to Settings, then selecting Devices and Printers.

Not everyone can set up a printer on their own in 1C Enterprise, so if nothing works or you feel that the result does not suit you, you can contact specialists for help. The Avangard Service company will help you set up any printer in 1C for printing receipts.

Connecting a receipt printer in 1C Retail basic version

A feature of the basic version of the 1C Retail program is that the processors that serve printers are located in the configuration section, so not all users can set up a connection to a 1C receipt printer. The help of an experienced consultant or programmer is often required. You can try to cope on your own. If you can’t solve the problem yourself, ask a specialist to set up the program: this is done once, but it will work for years.

You can do this: take the “RMK Managed Mode” event processing from the configuration, then in the saving settings specify the method “as external”. After this, you can go into the configuration and correct the incorrect parameters. Everything is done as follows:

  • Install the device in the operating system.
  • In the settings of retail equipment in 1C, specify “Fiscal registrar (emulator)”. Set the setting to not display the emulation window.
  • Set the width of the receipt ribbon in the “KKM Cash Desk” directory. You can determine the exact value based on the performance of your device.
  • Specify the rights of the user of the “cashier” type so that he can use external processing. Remove everything unnecessary from the settings so that the cashier cannot spoil anything through negligence.
  • Now you need to configure external processing. This requires the help of a programmer. If you can do everything yourself, then write a print routine and take care of the output layout.
  • At the end, connect the corrected external processing to the 1C database.

For this method to work, the device must be connected to the computer and configured correctly.

Connecting a receipt printer to 1C UT

A strange feature of 1C Trade Management is that the device for printing receipts is connected, but does not function. In the settings of the cash register cashier's workplace in 1C UT, it is simply impossible to specify a receipt printer. But something can still be done. This will require the help of a programmer.

Open the “RMK Settings” window and in the “Connected Equipment” attribute menu, configure it so that you can select a receipt printer. Until this setting is corrected, nothing else will work. If the configuration is prohibited from changing, then it should be specified in the parameters so that the change becomes possible.

  • Open the “RMK Settings” directory, in the “RMK Cash Desk” table, allow editing of the “Connected Equipment” attribute.
  • In the attribute selection parameters, indicate the option to select “Receipt Printer”.
  • Now in the settings you can select a device and print receipts on it. But the difficulty arises with setting up a check. In other versions of 1C, you can edit the form directly in the window, but here you will have to debug the receipt output through code functions.
You also need to manually specify the method for generating a document for printing and specify all its settings. To do this, you need to edit the code in several forms. You may have to write to the dept.

Modern workplace a cash specialist in a shopping center ensures simplicity and maximum acceleration of the sale of goods, combining this operation with its documentation in the form of a printed cash receipt. To produce such a document, a program has been developed that is used in . It simplifies the processing of goods by the cashier, who needs to use a scanner to track its parameters on the display.

Coordination of the operation of the printing device and the trading terminal

The workplace of a cash specialist is almost universally based on the massive use of the most common operating systems (Android or Windows). They determine the type of products connected using communication nodes, i.e. In this case, the entire system is configured in automatic mode. This is facilitated by the software of all major models of Russian or foreign assembly.

However, there is a possibility that the parameters of the terminal and the printer do not match, which leads to blocking the operation of the cash register. In this case, it is necessary to combine the devices in manual mode and register the check machine in a specific section of the OS, and also assign it the appropriate status in default mode.

This option is possible when a trade enterprise, in the process of implementing a system for recording commodity flows, believes that the software used does not meet the requirements, and it orders the development of new programs.

In this case, it is not at all necessary to repair the terminal, but rather use the skills of professionally trained specialists who can seamlessly integrate the software into all components of the terminal. Solving the problem on your own can lead to more serious problems, a prolonged shutdown of the enterprise, and a deterioration in its financial condition.

), it is possible to connect printers that operate via LAN/Ethernet and support the ESC/POS command set. Tested work with printers:
  • Bixolon SRP-350plusIII (we recommend),
  • Posiflex 6900L,
  • ATOL RP-326,
  • Mercury G80.
The operation of other devices is not guaranteed, because the latter may have their own implementation of the ESC/POS protocol (with a limited or incompatible set of commands).

Important information: Only model variants with an Ethernet interface are supported. The list will be updated.

However, any printer that supports the ESC/POS command language and has an Ethernet interface is likely to be operational.

How to configure the printer manually?

To manually set up the printer, follow these steps:

1) Connect the printer via Ethernet interface to the router. The router should distribute Wi-Fi network, to which the Quick Resto terminal must be connected.

2) Print out a receipt with an autotest. To do this, turn off the printer, press the button FEED on the printer panel, and without releasing the button, turn on the printer. After a few seconds, the printer will print a receipt with an autotest. 3) The receipt will contain the IP address of the printer, which it received from the router (if the printer is configured via DHCP), or it will be indicated static IP address printer. If the printer and router have the same subnet (for example, the router’s subnet is 192.168.20.01 and the printer’s is 192.168.20.14), then additional settings no need to produce. If the printer has a different subnet (for example, the printer has an address of 192.171.13.42, and the router has 192.168.20.01), then you need to configure the IP address on the printer, setting it in accordance with the settings of the router (instead of 192.171.13.42, set, for example, 192.168. 20.42).

4) Once the printer's IP address is set, the printer needs to be added on the Quick Resto terminal. To do this, open the Quick Resto application, go to the employee’s personal menu, then open the tab Devices. There will be a button on the tab Add manually. Click on it.

5) A window will open asking you to add a device.

Select an item ESC/POS printer. Input fields will open on the right side:

  • IP address- enter the IP address that was assigned to the printer (see point 3 above).
  • :9100 is the default port. If a different port is indicated on the autotest check, then you need to enter this port instead of the numbers 9100. In most cases, this is not required.
  • Manufacturer- printer manufacturer, not displayed in the printer status bar on the tab Devices, does not affect the operation of the printer.
  • Model- printer model, can be arbitrary (for example, “Printer in the kitchen”). Convenient if there are several printers and they need to be distinguished by model or location.
  • symbol table- the number entered in this field affects what language (in what encoding) the lines will be printed on the printer. The default is 17, which for most printers represents the Cyrillic alphabet. On a specific printer, a different number may be used for the Cyrillic alphabet. This number can be found on the autotest receipt.

After filling in all the listed fields, you need to check the functionality of the printer. Use the button for this Test check- after clicking on it, the following type of receipt will be printed on the printer (in the image below).

If another encoding is used instead of Cyrillic, the letters on the test receipt will be displayed incorrectly. In this case, you need to indicate in the field symbol table the correct number corresponding to the Cyrillic alphabet in the printer's character table. If the test receipt printed correctly, click on the button Add device. The printer will appear in the Devices.
