Petzl MYO headlamp new version is a universal flashlight that is ideal for mountaineers, rock climbers, tourists, athletes and travelers. Switching lighting modes
In the initial configuration, there are three lighting modes, plus a flashing SOS signal mode.
One press of the button turns on the mode 1.
Two quick presses switch the flashlight to 2.
Three quick presses switch the flashlight to 3.
Four quick presses activate alarm mode SOS.
One press of the button turns off the flashlight (after it has been on for at least two seconds).
Setting modes:
You can select the brightness level for each of the lighting modes.
You can also select the blinking frequency.
1 . Switch the flashlight to the mode you want to configure.
2. To enter setup mode, press the power and BOOST buttons simultaneously. One flash of the flashlight confirms that you have entered the mode
settings.

3a. Customize your lighting by choosing from 10 brightness levels:
Successive presses of the BOOST button increase brightness;
Successive presses of the switch decrease the brightness.
3b. Using the same principle, you can choose from two other flashing modes.
4. The flashlight exits the setting mode if no buttons are pressed for 10 seconds, and signals this with one flash.
BOOST - maximum available power. Keep the BOOST button pressed. BOOST mode is always available, even when the flashlight is off. It is invisible at brightness levels 9 and 10 or when the batteries are dead. Frequent use of this mode will quickly reduce operating time.
BOOST mode turns off after 20 seconds to avoid overheating the LED. If the temperature gets too high, regardless of the lighting mode, the brightness is automatically reduced to allow the LED to cool down (for example, after using the BOOST mode successively).
Power: alkaline batteries, NiMH batteries or lithium batteries.
Battery charge level indicator:
Green light = fresh batteries.
Orange light = batteries are 70% charged.
Red light = replace batteries.
The light flashes when the indicator changes color. When the indicator starts flashing, the lighting can no longer be adjusted. It does not work in BOOST mode.
