The easiest and fastest way to get balance information is USSD commands. There are two of them, but the result of their action is almost identical. First:

Especially for owners of USB modems and mobile routers, MTS has created a special extension for the popular Google Chrome browser, which, among other features, also allows you to check traffic. It's called "Connect Service". However, it is also suitable for all other browsers that run on the Chrome engine.

After installing the extension, a button with the operator’s logo will appear on the right side of the window. When you click on it, a pop-up window appears, which displays all the basic and necessary information: account status, the presence of restrictions or options on the tariff, and, of course, consumed and remaining MTS traffic. If the limit is over, there is also quick access to the Turbo button, which for an additional fee will allow you to add speed or additional megabytes.

5. Other ways to find out traffic on MTS

Here I want to look at several other options that also allow you to check the rest of the “Internet” in megabytes. They are less convenient than the previous options, but they can also be used to obtain the necessary information.
MTS connect— This is an application that comes with the software installed when connecting branded 3G/4G modems. There you can view statistics on used Megabytes and see the remaining traffic on your account. Unfortunately, the program only works with branded devices of the provider.
Call operator 0890- this classic method, a few years ago, was the simplest and most convenient way to check the remaining traffic on MTS, until an automated help system was introduced. Despite the fact that it seems to be created for the convenience of subscribers, in fact, climbing through the branches of its menu is long and tedious. And getting through to the operator directly becomes a difficult task. But nevertheless, it is possible if you apply some persistence.

Today, using almost any mobile phone, you can check how much Internet traffic has been spent and how much is left for use. Additionally, tablet devices and new smartphones are no exception. The MTS company does not provide the opportunity to see the consumption and remaining traffic with a simple telephone meter. In this regard, many subscribers are wondering how to find out how much traffic is left on the tariff.

Checking balance using service codes

One of the most accessible and simple verification methods for any mobile operator is the use of service combinations. They can be used on any device even without Internet access. Another method to find out the balance of Internet options is by dialing the short code * 217 #. This set is universal and allows you to find out data for any service package. But the smart tariff from MTS does not support a universal code, so customers will only need to use those described above to check traffic.

Checking through your personal account

To gain access, you will need to go to the MTS company website and log into your account. To log in you need a password, which can only be obtained after registration. The password comes to your phone as a message. After authorization, the client will be able to view his tariff, if necessary, he can activate the desired Internet option, and also find out the remaining megabytes in the smart tariff in the appropriate section.

An analogue of your personal account is a mobile application that can be installed for free. You can find the application on the MTS website or in any application store. To use the mobile application, you will need mobile Internet or free access via Wi-fi.

1. Log in to the mts.ru resource and in the upper right corner of the home page click on the “My MTS” button.
2. Select "Mobile" from the drop-down list.
3. Enter authorization data (phone number and password) in the appropriate fields. If you have not previously logged into your account, enter your phone number and click “Receive password via SMS.” Enter the code in the appropriate field and click on “Login”.
