Connecting BlueTooth speakers to your phone. How to connect a Bluetooth speaker to your phone. Very simple instructions and all the methods Jbl speaker does not connect to the phone

Often, the standard built-in speakers on a laptop are not enough to reproduce high-quality sound. In this regard, many users connect portable Bluetooth speakers to it, which have a number of advantages. They are compact and do not require wires or cables to operate. In addition, the sound of Bluetooth speakers is an order of magnitude higher than standard ones.

The main thing is to figure out how to connect them to the laptop. We will talk about this in the article.

There should be no difficulties connecting portable Bluetooth speakers to a laptop. Especially if you follow a certain procedure:

  • On Windows 10, just right-click on the Bluetooth enable icon. The “Go to Settings” option will open. Click on it and wait for the list of devices to appear, which will include speakers. If automatic connection does not occur, then select the required device and click “Connect”.
  • On Windows 7 and 8 it should appear in the “Devices and Printers” section (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items). Find it, click on it and click connect. You can also open the Bluetooth tab. Then activate the “Add devices” option at the top of the window. From the list (if one appears), all you have to do is select the name of your speakers and make the connection.

By the way, on most models of Bluetooth speakers, when successfully connected to a PC or laptop, the color of the indicator changes or lights up completely different.

It is important to know! Some laptop models do not have built-inBluetooth- adapters. In this case, to connect a wireless speaker, you will need to purchase a special receiver. He's the same Bluetooth Dongle that connects to a regularusb-port.

Possible problems connecting Bluetooth speakers and ways to solve them

What to do if the Bluetooth speakers don’t work or don’t want to connect to the laptop?

In addition, do not forget that the Bluetooth device may not work due to a dead battery. After all, even top models (from manufacturers such as JBL, Logitech, BeoPlay, Libratone, etc.) have an average battery capacity of 6000 mAh. That is, at average volume it lasts for 7-10 hours of battery life.

Introduction

Our test laboratory received the JBL Charge portable speaker. It connects via the Bluetooth interface, which is present in almost all gadgets today, so there should be no problems with playing music. The speaker uses a decent-capacity battery inside, so parallel charging of a smartphone or tablet is possible.

Appearance and Design

When we opened the box with the speaker, we found an object that looked like a vase. The shape of the JBL Charge is truly original. We liked the design, but here, of course, it all depends on your taste.

There is a charge indicator on the case, which consists of three LEDs. Next is the power button, which has its own backlight. To adjust the volume, use the rocker on the right.

At the bottom of the speaker (in horizontal orientation) there is an input for charging the battery and an additional analog input if for some reason Bluetooth does not work.

One of the distinctive features of the JBL Charge is the ability to position the speaker both vertically and horizontally. The case will stand confidently on any surface thanks to the rubber pads. On the top edge (in vertical orientation) there is a USB connector for charging external devices - a tablet or smartphone.

The JBL Charge comes with a soft case that will not save the speaker from falling, but will protect it from scratches. You will also receive a charger along with a micro-USB cable.

Connection

Connecting to JBL Charge is the same for all devices, be it Android or iOS. To bind, you need to complete the following steps:

  1. Hold down the power button until a characteristic sound signal is heard. The rim around the button will start blinking red and blue, indicating it is ready for Bluetooth pairing.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone or tablet, search for devices, select JBL Charge from the list
  3. Turn on the music and enjoy the sound

To charge your mobile phone or tablet, just connect it to the speaker via a USB cable.

Testing

We conducted subjective listening tests, so your experience of the speaker may vary. When testing the JBL Charge, we listened to music of different styles, all files were recorded in .ape format, the speaker was connected via wire.

Using an excerpt from the track Pink Floyd - Time, we checked the high frequencies; in this fragment, the chime is recorded very high quality and loudly. High notes in the speaker sound clear and distinct. Even at high volumes, the sound remains intelligible.

Using the track Rebecca Pidgeon - Spanish Harlem, we listened to the mids. In our opinion, the sound was a little lower than it is, but it was deep and quite gentle.

Using an excerpt from the track Dire Straits - You and Your Friend, we tested the lower midrange and bass. The bass guitars at the beginning of the track sound strong, there are no “wheezes” appearing.

On the more energetic and simpler piece Dao Dezi - La Jument de Mishao, the JBL Charge again performed well, with the lows clearly audible against the mids so no sound was lost.

We checked the volume created by the acoustics using the track Henry Mancini - Pink Panther; the speakers performed worse, but still did not fall flat on their face. It is difficult to determine the approximate location of the sources from the sound, but the quality of playback again pleasantly surprised us.

Conclusion

We liked the mobile speaker from JBL, given the ability to use it as an external battery. For travel, this combination of JBL Charge functions will be very useful. The assembly of the speaker is also excellent; there are no questions about the quality of workmanship and materials. The sound for a mobile speaker turned out to be quite good, especially for such a price - from 2.7 thousand rubles.

Benefits of JBL Charge:

  • Balanced frequencies
  • Good build
  • Ability to charge your mobile device
  • Large battery
  • Good package

Disadvantages of JBL Charge:

  • There is not always enough volume in the sound

Today, a mobile phone is not just a means of communication. This gadget is actively used for listening to music tracks or watching various video files. The only caveat is that you can’t always get good sound from a smartphone with the required volume, clarity and bass. Therefore, many users connect portable Bluetooth speakers to their phone.

And this is done quite simply. However, to ensure that you don’t have any questions, we will tell you in detail how to synchronize both devices. We will also discuss the Bluetooth speakers themselves, their characteristics and some nuances of use.

Bluetooth speakers: basic information

To begin with, I would like to tell you more about this device. Bluetooth speakers have been around for quite some time. And all because the standard stereo system of smartphones and tablets did not suit users much. Especially those who like to go on a picnic or a country holiday and want to simultaneously enjoy the sound of their favorite music (without connecting to the network and using all kinds of wires).

At the same time, wireless speakers have recently become popular. Literally in the last three or four years, there has been a great demand for them, and many companies involved in the production of computer peripherals have begun to actively produce them.

As for the most popular brands today, these are Logitech, JBL, Beoplay, Sven, Ginzzu, etc. Each company has a dozen models with a wide variety of designs. Moreover, the most popular on the market are mini Bluetooth speakers, which are compact in size and easily fit into a pocket or bag.

The cost of portable speaker systems that connect via Bluetooth varies greatly. There are budget models for 300-500 rubles. And there are also speakers whose price exceeds tens of thousands of rubles (the same Sony SRS-X99 costs about 35,000-45,000 rubles). Of course, the more expensive such a device is, the better its characteristics - power, frequency range, quality of materials, number of speakers, and much more. etc.

For reference! Bluetooth speakers are not constantly powered from the mains. They have their own battery, which provides them with autonomous operation. On average, the battery of a wireless headset has a capacity of 1000-2000 mAh. This is enough for 8-10 hours of continuous use of the device.

Connect the speaker to the phone via Bluetooth

Connecting Bluetooth speakers to your phone is easy. You don't need any cables, wires or special applications. You just need to follow the following instructions:

At the same time, there is no need to constantly repeat this procedure. As soon as you turn on Bluetooth and the speaker, automatic synchronization will occur.

For reference! Sometimes, for some reason, the phone does not recognize the speaker connected via Bluetooth. If you encounter such a problem, then simply reboot your device. Did not help? Then try downloading and installing the bluetooth pair application on your smartphone, which helps you establish a Bluetooth connection between different devices in a few clicks.

How to connect two Bluetooth speakers to one phone at once?

Many users ask whether it is possible to connect two speakers to a phone via Bluetooth at once. For example, to get high sound volume. This is not easy to do. If you connect as described above, then most likely the sound will come from only one speaker. The other will continue to remain silent.

However, you can first try connecting two columns together. A double-sided AUX wire or USB cable works great for this. Then we connect the phone via Bluetooth to one of the speakers. Preferably one that has less power. Let's check. Ideally, sound should be broadcast from two devices at once without loss of quality and volume. If all else fails, the easiest way is to simply purchase a more powerful portable speaker with better performance.

On the right end surface, in a recess, under the metal mesh, there is a phase investor window to expand the frequency range.

The system cannot be installed vertically on this end.

It's time to get acquainted with the case. It doesn’t seem to be anything outstanding - an ordinary neoprene soft cylinder, one side of which opens/closes with a zipper. But it is very convenient to use. The speaker fits tightly inside, and the relatively thick material reliably protects the device.

There is a ring on the side, so the speaker in the case can be attached with a carabiner, say, to a backpack or belt.

3. Connection and use:

The Bluetooth connection process is extremely simple

I connected an iPhone 5S to JBL Charge as a sound source. The process went quickly and without problems, I didn’t have to enter a password

If I turned off Bluetooth on my iPhone and then turned it on again, it reconnected almost instantly and without any additional action on my part.

Well, then everything is even simpler. We install the speaker, start playing music on the iPhone and listen. As I already wrote, the system can be installed either horizontally or vertically (but only on the end with a USB connector!!!)

When connected via Bluetooth to an Apple device with iOS 7, JBL Charge appears in the control center (to the right of AirDrop).

Playback control (pause, switching tracks/albums) is only possible on the connected device. Volume control can be done both on the iPhone and on the speaker.

It is also possible to connect via a 3.5mm audio cable. At the same time, you can immediately charge your iPhone (or other device)

Charging happens quite quickly, despite Bluetooth being turned on and music playing

Here are the screenshots, pay attention to the time and battery percentage of the iPhone

Where can this device be useful? Well, first of all, on a trip, on a picnic, etc. Here is a clear example of use

4. Sound quality.

It’s difficult to expect any outstanding results from a system of such a small size, but for its class, the JBL CHARGE copes admirably with music playback. The volume reserve is very good, no wheezing or sound distortion (even at 100% volume), the bass reflex on the side produces a slightly noticeable upper bass. Detailing, good low frequencies - in general there are no complaints about the sound quality, but on the contrary - we can say that it is 5 points out of 5 (I repeat, for this type of device).

5. Conclusion.

JBL has created an excellent, multifunctional, very high-quality device. I can safely recommend it for purchase - I think you will like it.

Tablets, mobile phones and other gadgets have entered our lives and now it is difficult to imagine life without them. Now sound devices are also gaining individuality. The JBL line of speakers are compact devices that can be connected to any tablet, phone or laptop in various ways, including via Bluetooth technology. We will look at how to connect a JBL speaker via Bluetooth to a laptop and phone later in this article.

Synchronization using Bluetooth technology is the most common because no additional cords or applications are required to connect. This connection method is standard for all mobile phone operating systems. Most often, a JBL speaker is purchased in order to connect it via Bluetooth. Wherever you are, you can connect to the speaker and enjoy your favorite music or radio station. To do this you need to follow a few simple steps:
