Access to the electronic signature of a government service freezes. Error “You do not have valid certificates” in State Services - what to do. Which browser is better to use to work with Government Services?

For inexperienced users, making friends with modern technologies is a task with an asterisk. However, in the realities of the world this is catastrophically important, which means everyone has to figure it out. In this article we will talk about solving a common error on the State Services website - “You do not have valid certificates.” You will find out what this failure is and how to fix it.

Solution at the start stage

One of the reasons for this unpleasant turn may be a registration error. It’s worth briefly reviewing the sequence of actions to get started correctly:

  • We go to the State Services website and find the item "Registration".
  • Enter your details and mobile number.
  • While the SMS arrives, you can start filling out the form.

It is worth noting that it is difficult to make a mistake here - the system detects an insufficient number of numbers or letters in a particular column, indicating a possible error. But it’s still worth double-checking several times. You can confirm your account in several ways (they sometimes change) - check on the website in the appropriate tab. Any problems with the data? Go ahead.

The error appears after installing special programs (UEC)

  • Download the first program “Plugin for working with electronic signatures”. Unfortunately, it works smoothly only in Google Chrome— the popular Firefox does not respond to installation at all.
  • Restart the browser and allow the plugin to work.

It is at this moment that the majority are faced with the error in question “You do not have valid certificates” in State Services - the solution turns out to be idiotically simple:

  • We find the “Crypto-Pro” website (or another crypto provider, token) in a search engine and go to the resource.
  • Don’t forget to connect your own card reader to your PC (it’s better to do this before registering).
  • We are going through the registration procedure for "Crypto-Pro", then download the utility "CryptoPro UEC CSP".
  • After successful installation of the above-mentioned program, you will be prompted to install the plugin included in the kit - we agree.

In principle, all problems should end there, but for some they still remain - then we resort to extreme measures.

A separate point is the operating system. It also happens that on outdated operating systems (Windows XP, Vista, MAC OS) the EPC may malfunction and not work as expected. Try applying Latest updates and check the program itself for compliance with your OS version.

There are no valid certificates in the State Services - “severe” cases.

If all the above manipulations did not lead to a “happy ending”, there are only two options left - expired certificate or minor bugs in the browser. First, let's deal with the first one - this seems like an obvious mistake, but not everyone thinks of it when problems arise.

  • We remember or find out which company received the EPC.
  • We call the relevant organization to clarify the issue.

Is it simple? It is true - people are just used to looking for a catch in everything. Most likely, your certificate has simply expired or the company that provided it is experiencing temporary difficulties.

With the second option, everything is not much more complicated - you just need to clearly and correctly follow simple instructions:

  • Go to the browser settings (three dots in the upper right corner, select from the list).
  • Scroll the window that opens to the end and open the item "Additional settings".
  • Looking for a section "Personal data", where we go to the “Content Settings” item.
  • Opening "Cookies" and enter the link to the site in the appropriate window.
  • Agree to all saves by clicking "Ready".

Important - make sure that the “Allow” checkbox appears opposite the entered link. Also make sure that the site is included in the trusted list.

In rare cases, you have to completely reinstall the corresponding programs on your PC and re-enter all the paths to the folders with certificates. We hope that this article was useful to you – enjoy using modern business solutions!

EDS stands for electronic digital signature. Though this technology document confirmation was invented and introduced in Russia a long time ago; it has not received wide distribution among the population to this day. Obtaining an electronic signature will simplify the preparation of documents and the receipt of various services if you submit applications via the Internet. For such people, digital signature will become an almost irreplaceable alternative. This signature is also used when sending documents via the Internet. Before considering a document as authentic, it is necessary to verify the digital signature. In this article you will learn how digital signature verification for State Services is carried out, what is needed for this procedure and much more.

Why confirm the digital signature?

Currently, absolutely any citizen of the Russian Federation can use an electronic document for their own purposes that do not contradict the law. Checking a document using electronic signature necessary for several reasons:

  • determines the authenticity of the document;
  • identifies the identity of the owner of the signature;
  • you can make sure that the document was not sent accidentally;
  • After confirmation of the digital signature, you will be able to use the data in case of refusal of the person who signed the document.

Without a special service, digital signature verification is impossible. You will not be able to decipher the code yourself. It is worth mentioning that the electronic signature itself can be in the form of a picture, a digital key, or not have a visual display at all.

The technical verification process is quite complex and impossible without computer. This is understandable - the level of reliability and security of such documents must be extremely high. We will not go into details of the technical side of the decryption and confirmation process, but will consider the procedure from the user’s point of view.

Methods for confirming digital signature

Next, we will look at the simplest and most accessible method - checking the digital signature for State Services. However, if for some reason you cannot use the site, then use one of the methods below:

  • special programs. You can find similar ones by searching on the Internet;
  • Microsoft Word program;
  • third-party unofficial services on the Internet.

In the event that nothing interferes with your work with the unified State Services portal, we will proceed directly to the description of the process.

Step-by-step instruction

Verification of digital signature for State Services is carried out quite quickly. It is worth noting that for this procedure you will not need registration, account confirmation and all other time-consuming steps.

Further step-by-step instructions will be accompanied by screenshots, so you won’t get confused or open the wrong page. To complete the verification process, you need the following elements:

  • computer with Internet access;
  • browser to enter the site;
  • digital signature carrier or corresponding file.

Checking the digital signature of the State Service is carried out as follows:

Portal capabilities for confirming electronic signatures

In the photo you see the points at which the authenticity of a document with digital signature can be verified. Let's look at each of them separately:

  • certificate confirmation – using this feature you can obtain information about the owner of the signature, its validity period and the authority that issued this document;
  • confirmation of an electronic document allows you to verify the authenticity of a file using an electronic signature;
  • confirmation of the disconnected signature using the official utilities of the State Services portal.

Certificate verification

To carry out the certificate verification procedure, follow these steps:

After this, the digital signature for State Services will be checked, and you will receive all the necessary information.

Checking an electronic document with electronic signature

To check a document with an electronic signature (electronic signature), follow the presented guide:

Checking the document and the detached signature

The disconnected digital signature represents separate file, which is attached to the main document. If in previous cases the signature was placed on the document itself, now you will have to use one of following methods: automatic check on the website or confirmation by hash function value. Let's consider both options.

To check automatically, click on the button marked in the photo:
Next, upload separately the file with the document and the file with the signature:
Enter the captcha again in the appropriate field and click the “Check” button.

But all this time, the author never found a chance to test the newfangled electronic document in real conditions. Perhaps, as a medical insurance policy, the plastic card was shown at the clinic’s reception desk a couple of times, but that doesn’t count. And so, the opportunity presented itself.

Vacation is approaching, and I suddenly discovered that my passport will expire in just a couple of months. Instead of jostling in the queues of the Federal Migration Service and copying applications by hand, I decided to apply for it through the government services portal.

Registration

Of course, you won’t be able to submit any application right away; although the services are modern and electronic, they are still state-owned. Therefore, you first need to register on the portal. This can be done in several ways, but we are interested in the one that appears with the receipt of the UEC.

Click the registration button, enter your last name, first name and phone number. We are waiting for confirmation in the form of an SMS to the specified number and slowly begin to fill out the form.

The system tells us where and how many numbers and letters there should be. The information is immediately checked in the online databases of various departments. When all the data has already been filled out, you are informed that you only have to wait for verification in several departments, which usually takes a couple of minutes, but can take five days. Fortunately, SMS confirmation comes in five minutes. In general, informatization in all its greatness.

This is where the moment of realization comes - register something You can do it in a couple of minutes, but how do you confirm your account?

The government services portal offers three options to choose from: wait for the confirmation code that will come to you by mail (“Russian Post”, to be very precise) in a week, receive it in person at Rostelecom on the street. Republic (across the road from the drama theater) or use the electronic digital signature UEC.

"Hooray!" - we think, take out a card and face the first problem. Where should I put it?

Buying a smart card reader

Not all card readers are suitable for UEC; you were probably already warned about this when you received the card. There is a certain list of devices that are guaranteed to work with the government services portal, and there is a list of stores where you can buy them.

I couldn’t immediately remember where exactly the reader I needed was sold, how much it cost, and the name of the company that produced it. As luck would have it, I went to a DNS network store where the required device had never been heard of. You were lucky in Arsenal+; they found a Ginzzu reader there for almost 400 rubles.

Judging by the inscriptions on the reader box, there is no need to install any software; the device will be detected by your operating system. This is true, but only partly - surprises await you the moment you go to the government services website and try to log in using the UEC.

Installing plugins and programs

The wonderful message “Error: plugin not installed” is unlikely to mean anything to retirees who have just completed the “Expanding Horizons” computer literacy course. Advanced users will immediately realize that we are talking about some kind of plugin.

We click on the link “Plugin for working with electronic signatures”, download some strange file and find that the Mozzila Firefox browser cannot do anything with it. Launch Google Chrome, repeat the operation and install the plugin. The next time you visit the portal, Chrome will ask you whether to allow this plugin to work with this page, of course you will allow it.

We restart the browser, go to State Services again and encounter a new problem. “You do not have valid certificates,” the portal offers us another riddle. At this point my nerves gave way, and I started looking for official instructions for connecting the UEC to the system on the Internet.

Fortunately, such instructions exist and we have been on the right track all along. Unfortunately, the State Services themselves do not share this link with new users, which explains a lot: “To register on the government services portal using the UEC, you need to connect the card reader to your computer and download the CryptoPro UEC CSP Program.”

Register on the Crypto-Pro website, download “CryptoPro UEC CSP (CryptoPro CSP 3.6.1 version 8 together with Browser plug-in" and install it on your computer. After the program itself, periodically freezing, is installed, you will be told what needs to be installed There’s also a plugin that’s included in the package. Again, we agree and wait.

What else does he want from me?

It would seem that everything necessary provision has already been installed, information has been uploaded to State Services. Now is the time to confirm your identity and seal the agreement with an electronic signature. But it was not there.

The government services portal will freeze every time you try to connect via UEC. You can cure the disease only if you manage to press the “no” button in one second, during which the following message is displayed: “The following plugins have stopped responding to requests: Unknown. Should I stop the plugin? Not fatal, of course, but annoying.

Further, when you received the UEC, you were given an envelope containing four pin codes. To confirm your intention to provide an electronic signature, you need to enter a code. You only have three attempts, but four codes.

Fortunately, we know that you need to enter (I still can’t understand why this particular one) the code that appears on your piece of paper as “ID. PIN2". It, unlike the first pin code, is not four-digit, but six-digit.

When you manage to install all this software, register on two sites (CryptoPro and State Services), catch the pop-up browser window and enter the second pin code, you, while simultaneously increasing your level of computer literacy, will still be able to confirm your identity on the most important government site. Your reward will be an SMS message: “You have just confirmed your account, now you have access to advanced features."

To be honest, the first time this experiment took me a little less than two hours. While writing the material, I already knew what and where to download, where to register, but I spent at least an hour. And I still couldn’t catch the pop-up window to stop the plugin the first time.

The conclusion is simple: UEC, purely technically, makes it possible to register on the government services portal and get full access to all its resources, and in general, this is a great thing! But, with all due respect, we cannot yet talk about any nationality of the UEC, according to at least until clear prints are made step by step instructions and are located at each card issuing point, and even better, issued along with this very card. Because otherwise, not every UEC owner will be able to use it. Let's hope things change for the better soon.

P.S. I managed to obtain a foreign passport with much less dancing around the computer with a tambourine.

One of possible errors when working with the State Services portal, it lies on the user’s side, namely in his browser - the program with which they view web pages. Know for sure whether the error lies in your software difficult - so you should just try this method.

What are the errors?

  • The browser is using old files. When you first access a web page, the browser remembers (caches) some files so as not to waste resources downloading them again. These files may be responsible for the functionality of a particular functionality. The error occurs when the visitor's browser uses previously saved files, while on the portal itself executable files changed: developers introduced new functionality or improved old ones. Accordingly, with “old” files an error may occur when interacting with the portal.
  • The browser does not support the required features. A browser is essentially a set of rules that tells it how to process certain code. That is, the same document can work/display differently in different browsers. Such differences were created by the developers at the program development stage and you cannot influence them. This suggests that the State Services portal can work correctly in one browser, but not in another.
  • Problems with the plugin for working with State Services(relevant only for legal entities). For a legal entity to work with the State Services portal, you must install a special plugin (more about installation and possible problems read the link https://www.gosuslugi.ru/help/faq/yuridicheskim_licam/2744).

How to solve the problem with the browser?

Option 1: Clear cache and cookies

When contacting technical support of the State Services portal, you can often hear advice to clear the cache and cookies of the browser you are using. Here you have two options: “clean” the browser that you use as your main one, or use another (non-main) browser.

The first option is good because you don’t need to change your usual program. But there is a significant drawback - all sites where login is required ( social media, Email and more) will be logged out. If you don't remember the passwords for these accounts, you can easily lose access to them. Plus, the entire history of previously visited sites will be lost to you. If you have recorded the necessary data from the accounts you need and you do not need the history of visiting sites, then you can “clean” your main browser.

The second option implies that you use any other browser that you do not use, or a freshly downloaded program. In any case, make sure that the history and cookies of this browser cleaned, or better yet, carry out the cleaning procedure again.

To clear history and cookies, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Del(press simultaneously) for operating system Windows and Shift + ⌘ + Backspace for Mac OS. Be sure to check the boxes to delete browsing history and cookies(see examples below).

Cleaning up the Google Chrome browser

Cleaning up Internet Explorer 11

Cleaning the Opera browser

Cleaning the Mozilla Firefox browser

Option 2: Use a different browser

Even if you decide to simply clear the cache and cookies of your main browser, and your problem is not solved, it makes sense to use a different browser. Perhaps there have been updates to your Internet browser that now do not allow you to work correctly with the State Services portal. In this case, simply clearing your history will not help you. But using a different browser will increase the likelihood of solving the problem.

Option 3. Configure the current browser (for legal entities)

Installing the plugin for legal entities is a mandatory browser setting for correct work with Government Services and electronic signatures. The problem may be an uninstalled plugin, a malfunctioning plugin, antivirus system computer, etc. Additional information You can look at problems and their solutions in the help section https://www.gosuslugi.ru/help/faq/yuridicheskim_licam/2744 or contact.

Which browser is best to use to work with Government Services?

The portal is designed to work correctly in all the latest versions of the most common browsers:

  • Google Chrome, Chrome Mobile;
  • Yandex Browser;
  • Mozilla FireFox;
  • Opera;
  • Apple Safari;
  • Mobile Safari;
  • Internet Explorer;
  • Android Browser;
  • "Satellite".

Therefore, there is no fundamental difference in which browser to work in. The only thing is, try not to use older versions, since the risk of errors in such browsers increases and you will not be able to work normally in .
