The voting system for the nominees of the “Muz-TV Prize 2016. Energy of the Future” took place in two stages. At the first stage, five nominees in 14 categories were determined through expert voting. At the second stage, academicians of the award took part in voting for the winners in each nomination in parallel with viewers of the MUZ-TV channel. The voting results were announced on June 10, 2016 at the Olimpiysky Sports Complex.

The “Special Prize” went to the composer of the decade, Maxim Fadeev. The award was presented by actress Anastasia Zavorotnyuk and figure skater Pyotr Chernyshev, as well as Lev Leshchenko.
