Recover deleted files on a flash drive. How to get back deleted files from a flash drive. Is it possible to recover deleted files from a computer?

Despite the development of cloud technologies that allow you to save your files on a remote server and access them from any device, flash drives do not lose their popularity. It is much more convenient to transfer files that are quite large in size between two computers, especially those located nearby.

Imagine a situation where, having connected a flash drive, you discover that you have deleted some materials you need from it. What to do in this case and how to restore data? The problem can be solved using special programs.

You can find quite a lot of programs on the Internet, the main task of which is to return deleted documents and photos from external media. They can also be restored after accidental formatting. To quickly and losslessly recover erased data, there are three different ways.

Method 1: Unformat

The selected program helps in recovering almost any data from all types of media. It can be used for flash drives, memory cards and hard drives. It is best to download Unformat on the official website, especially since everything happens there for free.

After that, follow these simple steps:

Method 2: CardRecovery

This program is designed to restore, first of all, photo and video materials. Download it exclusively from the official website, because all other links may lead to malicious pages.

Good afternoon friends. How to recover deleted files from a Windows computer (flash drive)? When we accidentally delete files from a computer (flash drive), especially documents and personal photos, it is very offensive and for many people, the loss of a necessary file looks like a real tragedy. Now we will briefly look at the list of file recovery programs that I talked about in other articles, and we will make a small comparison of them.

What is the most common way to lose information from a PC?

  1. Information is lost after the Trash is completely emptied;
  2. Information is lost due to formatting;
  3. Or, it is simply erased from the hard drive (flash drive), often due to a virus.

Is it possible to recover deleted files from a computer?

More often than not, yes. I have already touched on this topic. When erasing files in the file table, the system assigns the symbol “0” to the cells in which they were. Zero means that the cluster in which part of the file (or the entire file) was located is free, and it can be used to write other data.

Therefore, the file is hidden from us. We don’t see it, it’s as if it doesn’t exist, but it can be restored. If the system has written another one in its place, or if the file is damaged, in this case, unfortunately, these files cannot be restored.

What is the probability that the file can no longer be recovered?

  1. Time plays a decisive role here. If we deleted a file quite a long time ago, then the chance that we will be able to restore it becomes less.
  2. If we uninstalled the file bypassing the trash. For example, through the Total Commander program, or if we selected a file and pressed Shift + Del. In other words, we formatted this file.
  3. The recovery depends on the file system of the disk that we are going to recover. FAT, NTFS, HFS, EXT3 and more.
  4. On which device was the required file located: - flash card, HDD disk, SSD disk, laser disk, floppy disk (practically not used).
  5. What type of file was deleted? I mean: - picture, video, document. If desired, it is possible to partially restore them. Other files, if they lose even one small element, cannot be restored. These files include system files. If we accidentally delete a small fragment of such a file, a “Black/Blue” Screen of Death may occur. Or, the computer simply won't start! In this case, you need to restore the system from a disk or backup.

But, if the circumstances are successful, then you can completely restore the entire disk. For example, I had a situation where I was recovering data on a disk using the R-Studio program.

How to recover deleted files from the Recycle Bin

When a person deletes a file by pressing the “Delete” command, or by pressing the Del key, the file ends up in the trash. The files are stored in the trash for a month (30 days), and if a person does not return them, they will be deleted automatically.

But it often happens that a person realizes that he has deleted a file he needs. In this case, go to the trash, select the required file, right-click on it, and select “Recover” from the drop-down menu.

The file will be restored from the trash to where it was before. But what if we have already emptied the trash? For this case, we will consider a list of file recovery programs.

How to recover files after formatting

Whether we recover the file after this or not depends on how we formatted the disk. I mean, quick formatting or full formatting?

That is, the point is whether the “Quick Cleanup” command is checked or not. If so, restoring the information will not be difficult.

If there is no checkmark in this place, then Windows implies full formatting. In this case, it will be either very difficult or impossible to recover information. The following programs will help you recover information:

Recuva file recovery program

One of the most popular and simple programs that recovers erased files. It has a user-friendly design and recovering files using it is very simple. Its language database includes Russian, which makes recovery much easier, because... this is a delicate matter and requires accurate translation. One wrong step and your file is deleted forever.

This program does not require any limits or money to operate. There is a free version. Let's look at its features.

  1. The program, as mentioned above, is quite easy to manage. A beginner can easily handle it. It is for them that the program contains a recovery wizard. The software allows you to specify the type of file required. For example, audio files.
  2. It is possible to select a place to search. You can also specify other information to facilitate recovery.
  3. The files that this software finds are marked with a special color, indicating the likelihood of information recovery. High, medium, low.
  4. Scanning degree. There is deep scanning and regular scanning. When you choose deep, the chance of finding the file you need increases significantly. But at the same time, the search time also increases.

EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard recover complex files

This program is often used when files are difficult to recover and other programs do not do their job well. But despite this, it has a fairly simple interface that a beginner can easily navigate. There is a Russian language, deep, and simple scanning. It contains the “Recovery Wizard” function.

  • The program has such a function as “Secure Recycle Bin”. Its main difference from a regular recycle bin is the ability to restore data, even after emptying the recycle bin.
  • Simplicity of design. Recovery Wizard adapts well to the file and operating system. The recovery wizard makes working with this software convenient and enjoyable.
  • Ability to solve complex problems. The software has the ability to restore programs that were deleted without the recycle bin (using Shift + Delete). Also, it is possible to recover formatted files and Raw files.

Hetman Photo Recovery program for image recovery

It has a fairly user-friendly interface and built-in Russian language. Created specifically for recovering deleted pictures. There is a version of this program, Hetman Partition Recovery, which recovers other information, in addition to photos.

The software easily recovers images from a memory card or hard drive. Photo Recovery has the ability to recover photos after accidental formatting, malware attacks, and, interestingly, even by reinstalling Windows, you have the ability to recover information.

This program copes with cases where similar programs have failed to cope with their task. The program is quite simple to use. Even an inexperienced user can understand the design. The utility finds all data that can be recovered. The user only needs to choose which files are worth restoring and which are not.

Disk Drill is an excellent method for recovering deleted information

Although it is most often used for Windows, the utility was originally intended for Mac OS X. But later, versions created specifically for Windows appeared. The utility can support the following formats: NTFS, EXT3, EXT4, FAT16, FAT32, HFS.

Disk Drill is a fairly young software, but this does not mean that it works worse than others, rather the opposite. The program is in English, but the interface is quite clear. All you have to do is translate and remember the main commands, and you can scan.

Disk Drill does an excellent job of recovering most information, such as audio, video, pictures, archives, documents. There are both Demo and Pro versions. The free version has a limit of 100 MB. Hence, in order to restore disk partitions and flash drives completely, you will have to purchase a paid option.

Disk Drill Features

  • When starting the program, you can press pause and continue scanning at a time convenient for you.
  • It is possible to select the type of information that we are going to recover. That is, the program has its own filtering by file type.
  • Some disk partitions can be blocked during DiskDrill scanning. Therefore, you will be protected from overwriting uninstalled files.

A program that recovers deleted files R-Studio 8.8

Of the listed programs that restore information, I like this program more than others. She has the greatest opportunities. There is a thorough check (which I advise you to include). Quite a nice design, in Russian. The program was created for professionals, although even a beginner can handle it without difficulty.

You need to select the disk or partition you want to recover and start scanning. This will take some time, but R-Studio will recover from the disk even data that you deleted long ago and forgot about. The program has the ability to recover data in a structured manner.

That is, if for some reason you erase the entire information from the disk, the program will restore the entire structure on the disk as it was before. In other words, all folders, subfolders located in them, and all files that are located in these folders.

You run a detailed scan, after scanning, you see your disk as it was before, before formatting. But, all data found from this disk must be transferred to another. Otherwise, the program may overwrite the same file several times. After you transfer the found information to another disk, it is advisable for you to format the desired disk and re-write to it all the data that was on the disk before deleting the information.

So, recently, this program helped me restore the entire disk, with all folders and subfolders, when I accidentally lost its name and the computer stopped recognizing it. As I already said, R-Studio is the best recovery program I have ever worked with.

How to recover deleted files from a flash drive

All of these programs are suitable for recovering files from a flash card. It all depends on what data was on your flash drive. If it’s a photo, then Photo Recovery. If the file is of a certain format, for example, documents or videos, then Recuva or Disk Drill. In general, if you need high-quality data recovery from your flash drive, I advise you to read not only brief information about the programs, but follow the “More details” links and study the information about the programs in more detail.

Restoring files from a backup

It is possible to restore a deleted file from a system backup. This case is only suitable if the deleted file was located on the system drive C (for example, in “Documents”, “Downloads”, “Images”). In this case, it is enough to roll back the system using the program that created this backup. For example, using "Aomei".

Conclusion:— How to recover deleted files from a Windows computer (flash drive)? Each of the programs presented is good in its own way. Study each of them carefully and choose for your specific case. For example, as I already mentioned, Photo Recovery is designed for photo recovery. R-Studio performs very thorough recovery of folders, with the entire structure. It is more suitable for a PC, although it can easily restore flash cards. The choice is yours! Good luck!

Flash drives are an indispensable device for storing and transferring information. But technology sometimes fails, and therefore knowing how to recover deleted files from a flash drive will be useful to every user.

Important: if you accidentally deleted important information, do not write anything to the flash drive. You also cannot create new folders on it, otherwise you will not be able to recover the data!

When deleted, a record from the file table disappears, but the data itself is not completely lost - it can be restored if you realize it in time. If you perform any manipulations with the file system, there is a high probability that other information will be written to the section of the flash drive where the deleted or damaged file was written. In this case, restoring the necessary data will be very problematic. The same situation occurs after formatting.

No access

Damaged data can be restored without resorting to additional software. If the files are not deleted, but you cannot access them, try restarting your computer. Perhaps the flash drive was simply detected incorrectly.

If the problem is not resolved by rebooting, check the removable media for errors.

  1. Open the “Properties” of the flash drive by right-clicking on its icon.
  2. Go to the "Service" tab.
  3. Click "Run Check".
  4. Check the “Correct errors” and “Repair bad sectors” checkboxes.
  5. Run the scan.

After the operation, try again to access the necessary information.

Impact of the virus

Perhaps the files from the flash drive have not disappeared anywhere. They simply became invisible to the user after being exposed to the virus.

You need to check if there are any hidden files on the removable media.

If translucent file icons appear on the flash drive, copy them to a safe place, and check the media itself using anti-virus utilities, removing infected data from it.

Recovery programs

Several special utilities help you recover lost data, most notably Recuva and DiscDigger. All such programs operate on the same principle and differ only in their analysis capabilities. If you use two or three similar applications in turn, the chances of recovering files even after formatting increase significantly.

DiscDigger

After launch, you will be asked to select the media you want to analyze. There are two scanning modes - normal and advanced, which can help after formatting. It’s better to choose the second one right away.

Run the scan and wait for the report to appear. All data will be divided by type: documents, images, music. You can check them using the preview function. If the file was restored correctly, mark it and click “Save”.

Important: do not save recovered data to a flash drive from which it was deleted!

This utility allows you to recover information lost after deleting or formatting drives. It is distinguished by its simplicity and functionality, allowing for in-depth analysis of the disk.

After scanning, you will see a report in which all files will be marked in three colors:

  • Green – the file can be restored completely.
  • Yellow – the file is damaged and will be partially restored.
  • Red – restoration is not possible. Unfortunately, after formatting there can be quite a lot of red.

All that remains is to select the information you need, click “Recover,” and then specify the folder to save on your computer.

Nowadays, there are entire companies whose main task is to return files lost by users. They can work with broken, wet, formatted hard drives, flash drives and memory cards. In most cases, the services of such companies are very expensive. Moreover, we can often restore files ourselves with the same success using specialized programs. Some of them - and far from the worst - are distributed completely free of charge. Most utilities of this kind work on similar algorithms, and the main difference between them is the interface and the presence of additional functions. Of all this diversity, we will consider the most popular, convenient and functional in our opinion.

1. Handy Recovery – convenient and versatile

A simple program that can recover files from any digital media connected to a PC. It supports NTFS, NTFS5, FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 file systems. Works with flash drives, memory cards, hard drives. The utility eliminates the consequences of virus attacks, software failures, and emergency power outages. Recovers data from deleted folders or formatted drives. It can even return information from the Recycle Bin if you accidentally emptied it and there was something important left there. Of course, the utility does not work one hundred percent, but it gives a good chance, and considering that during the test period you can use it for free, you definitely have nothing to lose.

The program is nice because in it we can browse directories in the same way as in regular Windows Explorer. Here we immediately see all the files and folders that can be recovered. You can also look into the Recycle Bin - it will immediately be clear which files were last deleted. The data type, time of deletion, name, size are shown. The required file is quite easy to find thanks to sorting. The probability of successful recovery is also displayed here: “bad”, “average” or “good”. For neighboring files deleted at the same time, it can be completely different, and this makes it easier for us to determine which data should be allocated to return system resources.

For images with a “good” recovery probability, preview works. The utility has a simple, pleasant interface, but the percentage of data it returns is relatively low. If you can’t get the files back using , you should try one of the following programs in the list.

Test trial period – 30 days. One official copy of the utility costs 1950 rubles. Available for Windows XP/2000/NT/2003/Vista/7.

2. Diskinternals Uneraser – for viewing files

Slightly outdated, but still a smart utility for reliably recovering erased files on Windows, Linux and Mac and iOS (for example, iPod). It works best with data in FAT 32. The utility returns to you the information that was lost as a result of emptying the recycle bin, virus attacks, a sudden power outage, or failures in a computer or mobile device. There is a step-by-step wizard, several interface options for each request. The program attracts quite a lot of users, but in fact it is worth using it only when everyone else has failed. It has serious disadvantages that are not usually discussed:

  • less thoughtful interface design than competitors;
  • lack of Russian language (during installation we are given English, German and Russian, but only English can be configured inside);
  • high price: from 2400 rubles(and if you want expert support, you need another 2,400 rubles per year).

The program is superior to other alternatives only in terms of successfully recovering files on memory cards and flash drives. A powerful algorithm works here, and if desired, you can install it directly from it and launch spot recovery of mail, MS Office documents or photos. The interface is straight out of the Windows XP era, it looks archaic and will be inconvenient at first. Therefore, for one-time use it is better to take Recuva or SoftPerfect File Recovery (see below).

At the same time, if you look at it, it has many more useful functions, and some of them can be accessed even without purchasing the program. For example, here best file viewer, no competition. Here you can choose what type of data we are currently opening: video, picture, database, MS Office or PDF document, exe file, folder, email message. And depending on this, the program selects the viewing type and viewer design. The picture can be rotated 90° left and right, and the film can be played (if it is preserved in good enough shape). Diskinternals Uneraser provides the most accurate information possible about the file you select. But in order to restore it, you will have to buy a program, and it is very expensive.

3. Piriform Recuva – completely free

Perhaps the most popular utility for returning erased data. Mainly because free. It was created by Piriform, a company responsible for other very common PC maintenance programs: CCleaner and Defraggler. – the simplest and most convenient application on this list. Here you don’t need to think about hex code, set filters, analyze disks (although such functionality is available here, albeit in a reduced form). The main thing is that Recuva has made an excellent “Recovery Wizard” that helps beginners. You select answers from the proposed list, and as a result, the program itself analyzes them. You arrive at the right file and the right method. A list of the files you are looking for from the flash drive appears; all you have to do is select the checkboxes you need and click on the “Recover” button.

The program pleases with a huge number of languages to support. There are almost a hundred of them here. It can be added to the Recycle Bin and Explorer interface, if necessary. You don't have to run it separately; the Recuva shortcut doesn't require space on your desktop. It has a browsing mode, although it doesn’t work nearly as efficiently as Handy Recovery, and you can’t easily sort files by type here. The utility is well suited for batch data recovery if you remember exactly in which folder of the flash drive it was located.

The program works on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, as well as older versions of this OS. It can be downloaded in two versions: in addition to the standard one, there is also Recuva Portable, which does not require installation and can be launched from portable media. And if you can't wait to part with the cash, you can grab the fully featured version of Recuva Professional for €19.95.

4. R-Studio – the best functionality

This is a very powerful utility, for which recovering files from flash drives and cards is only a small part of the functionality. If Handy Recovery is good for a private user who has had an emergency, then it is more suitable for professionals. The probability of correct data return here is very high; the utility has twelve versions tailored to specific circumstances. True, the keys to each of them will have to be purchased separately, and the program is not cheap, from $50 to $850. There is a free version, but it only recovers files up to 256 kilobytes. You won't get far with this.

R-Studio's capabilities are very wide. It supports all major file systems, including exFAT, and runs on Mac, Windows and Linux. Returns information from bad sectors and formatted hard drives. Can search files by signatures. Recover information via the network, copy disks, create image files for them. And its boot version can work even on a computer that has stopped booting.

True, we don’t really need all this to return files from a flash drive. But for the average user, it has two big disadvantages: high price and complex interface. Finding the required file here is much more difficult; we are given a lot of “bonus” (in this case, extra) information. There is no preview for images; instead, there is a HEX code that does not tell anything to those who are encountering data recovery for the first time. If you do not have any special requests for returning Word or Excel files from a flash drive, if you are not going to become an expert in this field, there are programs that are much more convenient and cheaper than R-Studio.

5. Starus File Recovery – Windows style

The program is for those who are accustomed to the Windows 7 interface. If you are comfortable moving between nested folders, if you like to see file tiles, then Starus will be most comfortable. It doesn't do anything superbly, it has drawbacks and various minor inconveniences, but it combines several "tricks" of other utilities. There is a "File Recovery Wizard" here if you want step-by-step instructions. It is not the simplest; to a person far from the PC world, the selection options in it may seem confusing, but anything is better than the harsh and unfiltered truth of R-Studio. There is an opportunity to save and mount disk images - what if this comes in handy? The program can also please you with automatic previews.

It works well with damaged disk partitions, but it can also be used for flash drives with memory cards. Moreover, any storage media is instantly visible in the interface, you don’t have to search for them, and the required folder/file, if traces of them are still preserved there, is not a problem to find and recognize.

The program is paid, you will need the full version for home buy for 1300 rubles. In the test, unregistered version, it only allows you to track files, see if they are found and what is the likelihood of their recovery.

The utility runs under Windows 95/98/2000/XP/ME/2003/2008 Server/Vista/7/8. FAT12 logical partitions are not supported. Doesn't run on Linux or Mac.

By the way, completely similar functionality and interface are offered by another program, RS FAT Recovery, which is “sort of” made by a third-party developer. In fact, there are no differences between them, except for a couple of purely symbolic icons. And since they ask for a good 700 rubles less (for RS FAT Recovery the price starts from 2000 rubles), fans of such an interface should only buy Starus, without any options.

6. SoftPerfect File Recovery – no installation required

The simplest utility. You need it if you have lost just a few files and you want to quickly recover them. Then you don’t plan to return the lost information, so you wouldn’t want the program to take up extra megabytes on your hard drive. It’s very easy to work with: you select which disk contained the lost files, click “Search” - and return what the program was able to find. There is a small sorting by size and date, you can filter files with a specific extension. Otherwise, the functionality here is very primitive. This is what makes the application captivating. It free, there are no pitfalls in it. Weight is only 555 KB. In addition, the program does not require installation: just run the downloaded file and it is ready to work.

Several dozen languages are supported, including Russian. FAT32 and NTFS drives are supported. The program works only under Windows OS, from Windows XP to Windows 8. The utility is simple, fast to use and very convenient, but keep in mind that it is suitable for recovering only those files that have been deleted from drives. If data was lost due to formatting or changing the file system, SoftPerfect File Recovery will not help with this.

7. Undelete 360 – the most stylish

A small, nice program that captivates with its original design. Moreover, absolutely free. Created by a small team of New York enthusiasts. It is updated very rarely, it only works under Windows OS (and it has not yet been adapted for Windows 8). At the same time, it supports quite decent Russian. And – it has a beautiful interface from a visual point of view. With icons that light up in different colors and beautiful pastel colors. Even some bugs with layering of text do not interfere with the aesthetic appeal. In addition, this small program has a very detailed table with file data and a wonderful filter by type of information. With their help, searching for new data becomes a matter of a couple of seconds. The program works very quickly, it is responsive and is great for older PCs.

The utility is able to work with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 and server variations. In addition to FAT32 and FA16, it also supports FAT12. You can't expect first-class recovery here, but the program offers a fresh look at the situation, it's pleasant to work with, and if you have lost a lot of data, of which you only need to return a small part, Undelete 360 filters will be the most functional.

When starting to work with the interface in Russian, please note that files and folders here are restored using the “Save” button. The icon and its name can be misleading. Still, the team working on the program is very small, and they were unable to produce a perfect translation.

The program can be upgraded to the pro version to be able to use an even more advanced filter file and open the preview function, which is relevant when working with pictures.

One fine moment something terrible happened: my The flash drive stopped opening! What to do now?

How to recover (save) files on it? Or maybe it opens, but there is no information on it. It was simply accidentally deleted or the USB flash drive was simply formatted.

Or maybe the child accidentally pressed the camera buttons and accidentally pressed the button to delete all pictures (or worse, format the memory card), but the photos have not yet been transferred to the computer.

We will try to recover information without any interference with the data on the storage device, i.e. if this method does not help, you can use another - all the information on the card will remain intact - it will simply be copied, and then you can do whatever you want with the flash drive...

Let's look at everything point by point.

Recovering information from a USB flash drive (USB drive)

Of course, this method is suitable if there is no physical damage to the flash card, if, for example, it was hit by a car, then any software is unlikely to help.

For the most part, information (files) disappears due to logical errors in data, so it can be restored. Basically, the file allocation table (FAT, NTFS) is destroyed, while the files themselves are quietly stored where they should be.

Therefore, let's try to restore the information ourselves without the help of specialists; of course, for this we will need a special data-servicing program (utility). It’s scary - there’s nothing complicated here. I will try to go through all the stages of data recovery in detail.

Yes, here’s something else I’d like to add: just in case, check the flash drive for viruses before restoring it. Of course, if you are absolutely sure of their absence, then this is not at all necessary. For example, if you erased the photos themselves and then realized it, then this is one thing, but if suddenly something incomprehensible, something strange happened on the flash drive: files or folders disappeared somewhere, then in this case there is not enough confidence, that there are no viruses on the flash drive. Suddenly, recovery is not required, but the files have simply become hidden - the result of malware (viruses). If you want to check, you can use, for example, utility for treating an infected computer Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool. Next, we assume that there are no viruses on the flash drive.

Firstly: You should not write any information onto a flash drive., from which the files will be restored: it may happen that new files being written will replace the previous ones and then the old files will be restored almost impossible.

If the flash drive opens and there is nothing on it, then your situation is much better than the one we chose - a USB flash card that does not even open.

A flash drive was taken to restore files Transcend JF V30 8 Gb (Gigabyte) capacity.

We will use a free utility (program) PhotoRec which you can download on our website.

Its size is small, about 1.5 MB, but it works great.

So we connect the flash drive to the computer, try to open it and see the following message: “The disk in device I is not formatted. Should I format it? (see picture)

Select " No", naturally.

As you can see, the file system has become RAW instead of FAT, and the capacity is also zero.

Next, create some folder (in our example this is the folder “ 666 » on disk D:), download the free software package " TestDisk and PhotoRec 6.11.3 for Windows"(this is one zip archive) and unpack it into the folder we created. As a result of these actions, in the folder “666” we created, another subfolder “ testdisk-6.11.3", go into it and then into another subfolder " win" (i.e. the full path is like this : « D:\666\testdisk-6.11.3\win» ). Next, run the file “ photorec_win.exe"with the image of an eye (see fig.)

A DOS application window opens with a list of all connected devices, among them, using the cursor arrows, select the disk we need (in our case, it is a Transcend JF V30 8 Gb flash drive) (see figure)

Press the key " Enter"(i.e. continue).

Next, a window opens with a choice of disk partitions (in our case it’s a flash drive), select “ Whole disk", which means " On the entire disk", in all sections and " Enter» (continue) (see figure)

Next, you need to select a directory (folder) to save the recovered found files. By default (without any choice) this directory with the program photorec_win.exe(in our case « D:\666\testdisk-6.11.3\win» ), we are satisfied with everything, we confirm by simply pressing the letters “ Y"(Yes) (see picture).

That's it, after this the file search process starts, all that remains is to wait for it to finish.

While searching for files, the window shows the number of files found and their types (see figure)

After the search is completed, the total number of files found and their types is shown (see figure)

That's it, the data recovery process is complete. You can simply close the Dos application window, or click on the “ Enter» (continue) to exit to the previous menu.

Well, you can look at the results. During the file recovery process, the program created directories with names recup_dir.X, where instead of the letter " X", there are numbers (in our case there are 7). Those. in our case, we recovered 7 directories with a total of 3244 files. (see picture)

Which of them are needed and which are not is entirely up to you. In our case, we restored 2570 photographs, of which about 300 were needed.

Go for it! All in your hands. Do not give up.
